Really great polish on the animations and UI!

I think someone already mentioned this bug, but you can’t click “Start” after completing a run.

Would be interesting to have some other ingredients to cook and other things to give some variety to the game.

Great work!

Great concept! I really love how simple it is but that is one its flaws. It is a pretty simple game.
The polish and graphics on this are soooo good, i love them a lot. Like this is an extremely good menu and graphics. Its easy to grasp on and understand. Awesome game!

Just tried this for the Jam review swap.  It looks and sounds nice enough but, pretty simple gameplay with not much for the player to do.  You might need to add a few more features, like adding different sauces or ingredients, if you'd like some player retention.

I'm dreadful at it and didn't get far.  Tried to click start then look at the clock on my wall, but even then I lost my three lives pretty quick.

Amazing main menu visual effects. Awesome art overall

My feedback:

1.) After I fail in the game and go back to the main menu, I could no longer click 'Start' so I had to refresh the page to play again.

2.) Pretty simple gameplay. Just cook the ham, count the seconds and stop it at the right time based on the instructions. Seems fun at first but gets kinda repetitive as that is all you do. This feels like only one part of a restaurant game.

That is all. Thanks for the game.

It's a cool concept, once you figure out the timing it's just a matter of counting in your head though. Not sure how to fix that when the whole point is supposed to be that it's hard to tell the time, maybe later levels that speed up/slow down your cooking somehow?

Cool and fun game. A bit simple, but still fun. But that main menu is something, it feels alive...

On the gameplay, I honestly feel like its simpler to count yourself than try to wrestle that crazy broken microwave.

It's crazy how much detail and polish there's in the main menu. One of (if not) the best looking main menus I've seen in any jam. I've actually grilled every letter of the title brown, haha. Aesthetics and audio are top notch as well!

I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but the Start button does not work for me after I play a game, so I had to refresh the browser for each replay.

The gameplay is actually quite challenging! I first tried looking for visual clues, but I found counting in my head to work best. Skill issues, haha.

Overall, a really fun game. Cheers!

At least someone have found the letters easter egg! Happy you enjoyed it!

Yes, I put a lot of efforts in the main menu since I was frustrated to not had the time to do it during the GMTK haha

Thanks for mentionning the Start button bug!

I rate the first game here that I played during the GMTK jam.

The menus on the start are really polished but I notice in full screen that the ham has some filtering applied? In my opinion it doesn’t look good.

The gameplay loop is solid.

I terms of content I would love to see different products to make like pizza and you need to choose which power settings to make it with.

Cool game overall!

I really liked the tweening and the alive feeling of the UI.  Makes it feel polished and cool!  On my display the main menu was not full screen and I coul see a big ham outside of it?  I'm on a retina screen macbook if that helps and the gameplay was full screen.  My guess is it has to do with rendering in pixels instead of sides?  Anyways I really like the aesthetic of the game and the menus are awesome!  Great update!

Oh no you've seen my secret big ham.....

Thanks for the feedback, yes you may be righ about the rendering!

Happy you liked the UI!

I love the look and punchiness in this game.  The main menu, credits, ui everything looks scrumptious.

I agree with the commenter who mentioned escalation. I think it would be good to wait to apply the light randomly on/off until a bit later in the first level. It would've hit harder on me if I got used to cooking a few and then that started happening.

You could do more food types to add more challenge and variety to it,  but I must say the meat theme is amazing in the settings ui lol.

Cool visual style, though I wish there was more escalation to the gameplay. Once you know what to do it can be a little repetitive.

What a fun little game!

I really like the graphics. It’s very reminiscent of Overcooked and my beloved Garfield for PS2.
