Very cute little package here, and I love bundling a unique treasure with a unique monster. I will say, I think the kirin itself is lacking some juice and flavor. Charged is neat, but almost everything it does (including that!) is just damage, damage, and more damage. I think solo design really shines when the abilities get weird and combine effects in crazy ways, and I'd love to see a version of the kirin that really highlights its unique qualities, either from mythology or a Draw Steel interpretation.

Solid set up for a solo encounter here! The legend provides some good hooks for players to be interested in and a clear description of the eventual battlefield for the director to work with. Envisioning lots of burnt, brittle trees for dynamic terrain pieces to throw heroes into. I'll certainly use this at some point in the future.
This entry is solid and provides a unique and very flavorful encounter. While I question its balance (especially that 7 Malice ability), I don't have enough experience with a 3rd level party to say for sure if it's overpowered. Regardless, the lore text, magic item, and kirin abilities are all very cool, and I'm always a fan of solos that have their own unique condition. I second others' comments regarding theming. The art also kicks ass.
This is a super rad solo monster and leveled treasure that you've designed. I personally love when monsters introduce new conditions, and the "charged" condition is dope. That being said, I don't see how it connects with the theme of the jam. I can def see running the Kirin at my table.
