I'm struggling to find anything to actually concrit, you and your collaborators have done an excellent job. I think it's really exciting that this might be a cornerstone FF trifold, establishing solid footing for East Asian fairytale fantasy within FF, to be instep with what is often considered "default" or ""regular"" fairytales from Europe.
I'm curious what you were envisioning for the town's technology and look. Obviously this is the kind of thing a trifold doesn't have room for, but if I were to run this, I think I would probably look into researching Song dynasty villages and rural life, just in order to make 2-3 backup NPCs I could believably rely on for rumors, establishing what life is like for Lady Fan's people, what technology/tools are visibly around, etc.
Is that the era you were going for, medieval imperial, or something else? Just curious!
