Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
The graphics are mostly stockfootage that was edited. An exception is the eye sprite that was created y me from scratch.
Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
The complete soundtrack (link is on the project page) is created by me. Soundeffects are from the "Brackeys Platformer Assets"-Pack
How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
The system is unstable. The network assistent OMNIS is becoming more and more an thread than a helper. As the point of plattwist is achieved the player can see, that only through his own actions OMNIS could become such a dangerous thread. Just through the own unstable thinkings of being bored and superior. These plotpoints are integrated in the game and can be achieved through progression and through optional parts, where the unstable system needs to be repaired. Through actions the from the player the system can grew unstable but also the mind of the player can get more unstable. The game has 3 endings with sub-endings (End 1 with 2, End 2 with 4, End 3 with 2).

Heya! I like the interpretation of the theme, and cool story idea! I would suggest with this style of game, try to include some more imagery alongside the text to make the game more immersive, or add some more gameplay alongside the story beats. The little desk area was very cool, it could have been interesting to have the monitors integrated into the desk more solidly so that the desk doesn't feel as off to the side, but instead where the player is actively stationed. The text effects, while kinda cool, were tiring for the eyes pretty quickly, so I'd change that a bit. Also, very important, please proofread your text to make sure it makes sense, or have someone else proofread for you! With large sections of text like this, typos can be very distracting for the player, and there were many throughout the story that made the narrative less impactful, including a couple times where I could not understand what was actually being said. Overall, cool concept, would love to see it a bit more polished!
You did a good job; as for the sound, I think the one you chose is a bit too annoying. You could use the sound of a typewriter—though I'm not sure if that fits your vision for the game. The UI is the most polished aspect; excellent work in that area.
thank you for the feedback! I'm currently developing an update with an less annoying sound for the typing effect.
To be honest, as a foreigner who doesn’t understand all the text in English, I really didn’t like the game. I launch it, and the text keeps going on and on. Plus, the sound isn’t very pleasant, and it’s simply impossible to make it quieter. I didn’t even try to read everything. I just don’t like this genre. I’d give it a low rating, but I think it’s my personal problem, and you put your heart into this game, so I’ll just skip the rating. Okay?
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you.
Evyerythings fine, thank you for your constructual critic! This is the only way to improve. This was my first game I completed and it was a very good experience. After the Jam I will give the game some updates. Thank you for your time! I wish you a good day/evening!
Game looks super well polished, the UI in particular is very pleasant. Well done!
thanks for the kind words!
I liked the game's theme. And I voted for it. The only downside I can think of is that the text-to-speech sounds are a bit annoying for players who jump right into the game when they first open it. Other than that, I didn't notice any other issues. Great job :)
Thank you for the kind words and your thinking about my game! I will take your feedback for later improvements.
