this isn't a romance novel though... it's a visual novel and visual novels outside of itch are very cis male oriented... video games as a whole is very cis male oriented... i'm in support of adding male protagonist but if it means the artist will be overworked then please don't. the artist's mental health is more important than whether i can play this as yaoi
