Thanks, yeah I probably ramped up the difficulty a bit too fast since my level design was a bit rushed.

Most people use two fans that they rotated with R to point up on that 3rd level.

very nice game.

Developer

I appreciate it - thanks

game is really fun btw, expand it

Developer

Thanks - I plan to! It needs some polish and a decent bit of time spent on level design.

Done goog game bro, please rate my game too

Developer

Done and glad you liked it. I enjoyed yours as well - would love to see you develop it further :)

Got stuck on level 3! I really wish I could rotate the items in my hand :( Thanks for the game!

Developer

You rotate blocks with R - I probably should have added that as a separate tutorial prompt instead of tacked on to the building one :/

Submitted

So sorry my bad ...

Developer(+1)

No not at all! It is actually excellent feedback for me to know places where my tutorials are failing at their job :')
So I really appreciate it.

hmm weird - I'll keep an eye out for that.

It's pretty funny. lol

Developer

Thanks! :) I felt like it was a pretty amusing premise.

Ayo! Good game there. Quite a unique way to bend the theme and use it. Played through the levels. Tried to play it on phone first. If the game was playable with mouse alone, you could play it on phone too!

Interesting game overall. The level editor takes it to higher grade!

Developer

Thanks!!
Yeah I meant to add drag scroll but didn't have time to implement it sadly :/ After all the jam rating stuff is over I plan to along with a small pass to clean up some of the other low hanging fruit.

Interesting game, I played through all the levels! A few notes and observations:
It would be great to have all controls on the mouse so you could play with one hand. Camera movement could easily work via screen dragging or edge scrolling.
The level editor is a super cool flex for a 4-day jam! I just think fine-tuning the core controls would make it feel even better. If you scroll the camera up or down, the dark blue Unity background shows through at the top and bottom. And when the pressure bar is almost full, buying an expensive item (like the fan or gum trap) lets you go over the limit right before the round starts.
Thanks for the game, good luck!

Developer

I definitely agree on mouse scroll and the background adjustment - sadly I wasn't able to devote the full time period to this jam so I just didn't get around to those :/

Yeah, I was able to do the level editor super easily since it is the same exact controller as the build system in game but just with the cannon and destination added as options but it still made me super happy. Honestly having the level editor is the thing I am most happy with lol

Allowing you to go over the pressure amount was an intentional design decision but I should probably make it more clear that was intentional - it was even more impactful earlier in my dev stuff when I had the fan and gum block at a higher pressure cost.

Thanks so much for playing and for the excellent feedback!

Could you please explain how you presented the topic so that I don't unfairly evaluate you?

Developer

If you mean the theme, it was just in how the firing mechanism works - pressure builds up until it passes the firing point at which point the cannon fires giving players some amount of control of the firing speed due to being able to decide the last block that passes the threshold giving varying degrees of total pressure.

I love that we both made physics games altho wildly different! <3

Developer(+1)

Haha yeah there is a huge degree of variation available even within a given theme and physics puzzle genre :)

Fun game that was executed well, though the art just isn't my cup of tea

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the art is definitely underdeveloped due to my limited time this jam :/ but I hope it did an okay job of getting the mechanics across and I am glad you had some fun with it!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game, with a great concept. Well done.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

It’s a fun game, but they really should have spent more than five minutes working on the visuals.
Developer

Hey, I spent a total of around 1.5 hours on all the visuals for the game jam with the programmer art :')

Scope is what it is but yes the visuals would need work outside of a jam context.
