I love the art in this game, and the humor is amazing 😅 Even the concept itself is a joy to read about. Angel told me when I started reading this that it was one of the first games she's wanted to gather a bunch of people to play (we play everything two-player/together).

I also love how the dungeon disputes range from totally relatable to absurd 🤣 And it's very clever to make one of the scoring criteria "gross." It's interesting seeing how just changing the criteria really changes how you'd sell a dish.

I managed to play this solo, and I had such a good time with it!! ROFL It was so much fun and got so funny!!

I cut down the denizens in my playthrough to 7 plus the Dark Lord + Lady as hosts to make it manageable to track everything, and I have to say I loved them so, so much.

You picked such good options for the denizens to make them super interesting, fun, and unique to play. I absolutely love Gnolls and was excited to see them there. But for real, Demon Slugs don't get enough love lol Neither do Giant Gophers. Such a good mix!

The ingredients were fantastic too. Honestly, all of your tables worked so, so well. I was laughing out loud pretty hard sometimes just because it seemed so funny to me the way things would develop. Great vibes. I love the artwork. Everything works together so well. I can absolutely see a group of friends having a great time with this!!

Thanks for making and sharing it!! <3

I'm surprised it works so well solo since the interpersonal aspect was really important to me, but I don't know a lot about solo games so I'm happy you had a good time!

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to play it solo at all. I think that's why I had saved your game last to try to play. I had been a little nervous :)

The playfulness of the game setup and the diversity of denizens is what helped me build out distinct voices, backstories, motivations, and to make the disputes fun.

Everything kind of added to that. The random dish and ingredients--I was able to incorporate that into their cultures and personalities.

The rating categories helped me try to direct my scenes--but I try not to min-max and manipulate things to be perfect. I'm big into generative and narrative gameplay, so I wasn't trying to manipulate every scene arbitrarily to earn high or low ratings. It allowed me to try to judge a little more fairly.

The reactions to the food were surprising and also just sometimes so hilarious or perfectly timed after the end of a dispute scene (For example, in one of my last scenes, the Dark Lord + Dark Lady--aka the Sovereign Darkness--were confronting a goblin about his mad science experiment in a workshop. He was working on an unauthorized interdimensional teleporter prototype and sent half of the shop into another dimension during an explosion. By the end of the scene, the Sovereign Darkness told the goblin he would be finishing the prototype and also partnering with the Demon Slug, who had been the original prototype's designer--back before the Demon Slug lost his short-term memory by accidentally sending that part of his brain into the other dimension. As the goblin was still reeling over this semi-promotion, the Sovereign Darkness tried some of the goblin's dish. It blasted them into another dimension. ROFLMAO  So the goblin had better finish that prototype, I guess lol)

There was enough happening each turn that I remained engaged long enough to want to give each denizen a chance to be the active character in a scene and find out who would be employee of the month.

I can't wait to gather up some other players and try having our own Dungeon Potluck! I very much enjoy that the typical "enemies" from rpgs are the spotlight species in this game. The dice mechanics are very fun: the possibilities of ingredients, disputes, and reactions are very creative and leave a lot of room for excellent roleplay.

I loved the humor and illustrations.

I wish I had the full 18 players. 😂 This was a lot of fun to read and I’m going to find some way to get a large group to play this. 😁

Great game!

This is so cleverly written and was entertaining to read through. I love the humor in it and it just sounds like a lot of fun to play with a big group of people. Also I love the drawings, they’re adorable.

I think each table interacts with the other very well, and the content is very evocative and fun! I like it very much 💕💕 The context of the gathering is very interesting! I like how so much chaos could happen in it 😂😂 Your game screams it would bring a good time to the players, it’s very nice! The art is also adorable :) Good work ✨✨

Ah, this game was just a delight to read through. So silly, funny and light-hearted and so much personality.  The art, the writing and all the tables, details and mechanics really add to a cohesive and entertaining whole.
