The arrow keys dosen´t respond for me and can´t move

Developer

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully after the jam I can take another look at my programming to fix it

Developer

Did you click on the game window and then try to move? Sometimes a game wouldn't respond to me, but then I clicked on the game and then it responded to me. Let me know if that's the problem or if it's something else.

I already try that but nothing. It only respond to jump, fire and kick.

I already did a little test on Develop and I thing I figure out why happen that, it is because l thing you have the programming/events to move left or right with the left and right arrow keys and no the Numpadkeys and my keyboard only respond with the Numpads arrows

Developer

I see, I didn't know that could cause problems. Thanks for telling me. I wonder if there's a way that I can include numpad keys in future games

Submitted(+1)

No problem. it´s a bit confusing, jajajajaja. It´s only the arrows.

the controls are confuing but not bad for 2days

Developer

Thanks, mate. I can change those up in a future update

The maze is a bit confusing but I like the game in general. Great work!

Silksong mention <3

Why silksong?

Submitted

It was mentioned as an inspiration in the game's page, specifically the Mist part

Oh k

I loved The Mist level and how you can so easily get lost in it all! And you have to use Hornet's needolin ability, something unique to her, to figure your way out! Since my oc is a low-level pyrokinetic, I loved the idea of them using light flairs to find their way out of the dark forest. I've been having a large-scale roguevania in the works and was thinking that maybe I could make some kind of navigation mechanic for the game.

My rating is Fun 4, Audio 4, Graphics 4, Idea 5.

Very clever use of light  (I guess it points where you should go) but on level 3 there's three platforms I know I need to go up,  but I really think it's not possible to get to the third platform, you hit the ceil and no way you can reach that!

Developer

Yeah, sorry about that. I thought I raised the ceiling before uploading it but I forgot. I hope I can get around to it after the jam ends. I wanna use my scorpion oc more.

Keep working and you’ll get there! Once the jam is over, keep learning and improving your skills. You have a good foundation with this game, so don’t stop!

The game is sort of intresting but I find the controls and the maze annoying since there are barely any places to go.

Developer(+1)

Thanks mate! Yeah, I wanted to add more environmental stuff in the backgrounds so the areas felt more distinct, but I got sick on Saturday and didn't have time. Another thing I wanna do for a future update.
