How long do blog posts take to get approved?

Hi there, I make a blog post in regards to upcoming game bugs I know of and trying to fix but the post has been stuck at needs approval for the past 14 hours.

If posts are going to take this long to be approved, I might have to think twice before using this feature.

The pinned "Unofficial search and indexing FAQ" on this board covers it, and the short version is that it isn't a separate queue for posts. It says a devlog marked as a Major Release or Update gets reviewed by itch staff, and that the review queue is prioritised by, quoting it, "genuine traffic to the game page coming from outside itch.io". So 14 hours isn't a fixed backlog you can wait out. The FAQ's own advice is to share the link off site, because pages with real outside traffic get looked at sooner. A data point from the other end: we post devlogs regularly from an account whose games are already indexed, and those go public straight away, loadable signed out inside a minute. That gap points at the review queue rather than at an approval step every post has to pass.

so established games get prioritised.. got it, good to know the blog post feature for normal folks is meaningless to use for the time being. Personally not really user friendly but since the site is free to use, it's whatever.
