Ok, so first off, I loved this game. Being able to play a game like this and also have it be idle is a great idea. Here's a few things I found, whether they are intentional or not I don't know.
1) only certain character upgrades matter. getting health regen means so much more than any of the others, even when the enemies do have armor. attack speed is just straight up better than dodge or movement speed (or any use for movement speed). and mana regen is just straight up better. I'm not saying I played with only 20 health, because the armor and tools give me some, but for the upgrades I literally just did those 3
2) skill upgrades also almost don't matter. As cool as it is to have a lightning bolt that does damage to multiples or a summoned sword around you, pouring all the points into the first (or for warrior the second tier knife throw) skill and doing 300% damage every other hit is just better, especially when just letting your bot run on a path. Only thing is that the 3rd tier gives a 30% damage boost, or 50% attack speed boost, I have it set to activate as soon as it possibly can, essentially granting a permanent boost. I don't even spend more than 1 point on it, its just that by level 20 or so the mana regen is good enough for that.
3) The bosses are too easy. This might be intended, but being able to move and do skills means that I can run a circle around the boss, and hit him with ranged attacks (hence why I specified the 2nd tier skill for the warrior. Also it just does more damage.) Just to see, I managed to get to both bosses as low level as possible (11 and 21 respectively) using the town teleport to set little checkpoints along the way. Was it smart to do that? No. but point is that I defeated both bosses by going around in a circle and never getting hit.
4) Path bot stops if my bot is targeting something. It was never explained, so I had to figure that out, and it makes sense, but its kind of annoying when you cant farm the bosses by having the bot go in circles.
5) Bot log only logs spells and loot. The only other one I really care about is potions, but why is there a checkmark for them if they don't do anything.
6) There's no significant difference between mage and hunter. The way they attack are similar, and their skills/spells are similar, and its feels very repetitive. One idea I had is that the mage is overpowered, making for an easier game, and the hunter is underpowered, making for a harder game. (also I think its fun to have over powered mages in games because nobody does that.) It might ruin the unlocking bot thing though because after unlocking the bot as one class, you can use them in all the classes.
7) Chest loot was a huge let down. Its just some common or maybe an uncommon item. Not sure how to fix that though, as making all chests have a rare item in them makes it too powerful, especially early game. Also if you sneak behind the orc houses you can loot the chests through the walls :)
8) The weapon is the only way for you to increase your damage. When I played through with the warrior, I got pretty unlucky and still had a common rusty sword and was fighting the orcs. Only being able to deal 2 damage was really annoying, especially because even when I had level uped it didn't really change anything. You can increase armor piercing, but that really only effects later game, and by then you have a better weapon and don't care as much.
9) killing player killers don't give you anything. I guess I wasn't really expecting something crazy, but something more than xp? also letting my bot target player killers as a bit extra xp would be cool.
10) there's no reward for beating the game with no bots! man this one I really wanted there to be something. This was also the run where I got to the bosses as low level as possible, so maybe I messed it up, but something like a player killer coming to me and congratulating me on not botting.
All in all, a very good game. Super excited to see where it goes. More content is always better
