This is some amazing 1980s nostalgia. Very chill, relaxing click-and-point game. Simple and fun.

At first I thought having a smoking frog GIF on this page was cheating, but it was a bit of an undersell. Lovely art that suited the story and created its own world. The feeling explored here is one that I think could use a lot of exploration. Even though it was short, I got the sense that you wanted to make the player feel the effort so they could feel the empty table in an earned way. Obviously making a dinner with a few clicks is easy but seeing the big portraits and reading their bios made it really feel like you earned something, someone. Well done!

A lovely little game. The art is so endearing and the prose is wholesome. The message is also lovely, and I really feel for my poor woodland creature. Also, cool decision to have inner thoughts (the disappointment) differ from what character says to distract themself. I wasn't sure if I reached the ending or a soft lock? I was clicking around, unsure. Maybe credits and/or title screen would be good to communicate game end. Great music choice, cute little animation details, lovely little inkjam entry.
You're 100% right! We did intend to have a clearer endstate but, alas, we were nervous about the rapidly approaching deadline... Thanks for the detailed praise and pointing out the little inner thoughts disparity! We had a lot of fun learning new things and applying our skills in fun ways.
A short, sweet game. I really enjoyed all the art and animations! The point-and-click mechanics and the style gave me the nostalgic feeling of old Flash games.
