How does the game fit the theme?
"Trust no one" was the theme. In this game once you move through the short introduction your family members start lying and tricking you into bad situations. You can only trust Noah.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the art was made during the game jam by our artist. Our code was written from scratch - the dialogue system, tile based movement and collision and everything else. No AI was used in the code either. Other than clarify engine specifics or help with vcs errors, none of the actual code was written or copy pasted through an llm.

Very nice! The visuals are nice, and it 100% fits the theme. Go try my game if you want :)

Very fun game! I had a lot of fun ngl, and ending suprised me :) Movement is a little clunky tough. Btw, consider adding a background to the main menu tough so its not looking that rough. GG!

Very cool! I dont like the movement; teh character takes a wile to move or change direction.

For the rest, neat game, I like the story and I found funny that I died on every interaction before getting it right lol

Developer

Thak you for the review. To be honest we don't like the movement either, but next time it will be better.

Glad that you liked the rest of the game!

Very cool, I like how you've made it so the game changes state after you hit a game over. Also that's one big-ass bird haha

Developer

It's definitely big hahaha. Thank you for playing!

I was really invested in the game as I interacted with various characters. This game has incredible visuals and that includes the room designs. I had to move 2 steps back and a rock was thrown at me, which led to the game over state. The music was really well-made.

recommened webgl version to play and review.

Developer

I would love to but the .NET version of Godot does not support this yet. If you have any tips on how to do it I'm all ears.

u can create a small GDScript Autoload Singleton that uses JavaScriptBridge to fetch the WebGL version. After that, u can use the call () method in your codeto invoke that GDScript function dynamically.
