How does the game fit the theme?
With the theme being Trust No One, we wanted to make a twist on the classic NPC ally trope with a NPC companion you fight alongside to reach the end of the dungeon. When you make it to the end he turns on you in what becomes the boss fight to conclude the game. In this, you find that the trust you placed in the companion you had fought alongside was misplaced.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We used royalty-free audio sound effects from online, a text effect asset, and a few minor graphical assets (skybox, etc).

The visuals were great! Like others mentioned, it feels impossible to make it trough to the end. I assume there is a twist at the end where the companion will betray you, but sadly I wasn't able to figure that our for myself :) would like to play it again after you added an easy mode.
Stay tuned for a post jam update!
I like the visuals, you obviously put much work into that and the result is good. Together with audio, they create a mood that fits the game concept and the jam theme really well. As for problems, I agree with other comments here. You may consider reducing the damage to the companion by how low his health is (down to zero damage if health is really low), to ensure he doesn't fall before the final duel. I also encountered a bug where, after restart, the companion was not visible, and it persisted after another restart - I had to reload the page. A skip button during intro would be nice. I also like how thoughtful the hero (or companion?) looks on the screenshots :)
Thanks a lot for the feedback! This is very helpful and we will fix these problems. I feel like we have a good base if we want to expand and turn this game into a small RPG!
I'll look into that and get it fixed for the post jam update, Thanks for the feedback
I liked this game a lot. It has good 3d models and animations. Three weapons and a combat system is also pretty good. Sadly it seems impossible to beat, most of the enemies targeted the companion and he died. I tried a good 20 or so times and with the axe got to, what seemed to be, the final room where he still died. The ragdolls were annoying and blocking me a lot. The companion doesn't do damage 99% of the time and enemies barely hit me but they hit him every time haha. Even with that you put a lot of effort into this and it's a nice game. Good job.
Thanks for the honest review. This helps a lot!

The sound affects are so good 🤣🤣😂
Nice game sadly couldn't finish it my companion always died at the second wave of 3rd room. I tried bodyblocking the enemies , focused the knights first but couldn't make it past that point. Any tips?
Agreed the game is a bit hard, i guess we didn't really play test it enough. Currently there's a 75% chance enemies target you and only a 25% they target the companion. maybe if you get lucky enough and use the axe you'd be able to actually finish it. Thanks for the feedback tho!
Using the axe i managed to reach the next room and found a glitch. I went there twice and lost. When the game restarted both times the starting enemies run over to the next rooms. So in order to advance again I had to refresh the game.
great game , the ai is very glitchy some time it wont attack or freeze and the companion is useless he doesnt do dmg still great game
the companion is not supposed to do alot of damage as he is just using you to get to the end
looks really good. I couldnt get very far because the companion kept running to get surrounded in the second and third rooms.
It has such an interesting premise and I loved the color theme of the game. Good job!
I really like the small detail in the main menu that head of a character follows your cursor. Nice models and lights!!
Thanks! I played your game and really enjoyed it. It was very unique and creative. Great work
Very nice game overall, amazing job with the models, and the idea we had on the theme was basically the same xd, i would add an option for adjusting sensitivity though, since it was too high for me.
Thanks for the feedback, and you actually can change your sensitivity press “esc”
Oh, alright, didn't notice
