Sure, this works well in the tutorial, and you can use the same functionality (close on click, no timer) for messages in the actual game - that's all.

Cool! Original idea, solid mini-games. I especially like the dithered rendering looks of the office. A little hard for me, in several attempts I only managed to get down to 3 minutes. What I miss is showing the remaining time on the ending screen. The messages need a click to progress the tutorial, but are entirely self-timed in the actual game - this feels a little inconsistent. Overall though, great job!
Absolutely stunning! While some things annoyed me, they seem to be the way they are by design, and it's fine. I love how joyful, careless, colorful and creative this is! A cute bunch of rascals! The idea of rogue workers was the first one I considered for this jam, too, but I didn't manage to follow through - love what you did with it :) The game also reminds me of Cube and Star in some ways. 5/5, hats off!
Lots of content, a story full of detail, polished visuals, complex dependencies, everything working smoothly and without apparent bugs. I didn't really have much fun though - possibly because I'm not fond of visual novels, and this mostly felt like one. I recall a sense of confusion after the introduction, where the only thing I could do was hit a "Back" button - it didn't feel right because I did't go anywhere before. A more clear graphical indication of who's speaking would be helpful. Going around the map mostly without clues of where any new information could be expected felt random. Being forced to wait for all texts to be displayed letter after letter didn't feel nice. Ending felt somewhat abrupt. Nonetheless, hats off for what you managed to accomplish.
Quite engaging and polished! Weapon and upgrade choices matter. I needed a few attempts to finish, and I enjoyed it. I like the auto-fight where you just control your position. The given upgrade percentages seem like they're not to be trusted too ;) Encountered a bug once, after my health was restored, the game field disappeared, while the sounds of fight continued, and I needed to reload the page. A small animation accompanying the final might be a nice addition. Overall, great job on your second game!
I like the visuals, you obviously put much work into that and the result is good. Together with audio, they create a mood that fits the game concept and the jam theme really well. As for problems, I agree with other comments here. You may consider reducing the damage to the companion by how low his health is (down to zero damage if health is really low), to ensure he doesn't fall before the final duel. I also encountered a bug where, after restart, the companion was not visible, and it persisted after another restart - I had to reload the page. A skip button during intro would be nice. I also like how thoughtful the hero (or companion?) looks on the screenshots :)
I'm speechless! Almost ;) This is splendid! I finished it. I love how it made me feel smart and dumb at the same time. Really clever puzzle design, very good use of introduced mechanics, the look and sound are pleasing and consistent. And it has a story, too! And a good one! Perfect time span - I started feeling tired just before the end. What you might consider adding: undo, persistent storage of completed levels, and maybe a little happier ending? Anyway, this game deserves a lot more visibility! I enjoyed it immensely. 5/5
Shop security guard - that's one stressful job! The game is good in showing that. Interesting take on the theme, cosy visuals, relaxing shopping music. Fluid animations. Some escapers seemed impossible to reach - it might help to let the player change the guard's standby position. The other camera seemed to serve no purpose. I found no way to start another round other than reloading the browser tab.
Thank you for playing and for the kind feedback! I'm thinking of a highscore table, making an online leaderboard, and adding the option to start a new game at any 50-point score threshold reached so far. Hope this could help with keeping momentum while leaving the design minimalist. How'd you think that would work for you? :)
Although it is super-short for now, I like the visual style. The basis for a story is interesting, if you manage to develop it further, it may make an interesting experience. I was able to get to the end after a few restarts - apparently, if you don't make all the right choices on the way, the game leaves you in a state where nothing responds any more.
That's a really good game! It deserves much more visibility than it got so far. I hesitated for a moment when faced with the need to read the rules. Once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it, playing 3 times and getting 20k-40k results. Visuals and audio are simple and pleasing, and fit the game well. High-score table was a good idea, you may also show it on the start screen. An easy-to-absorb tutorial might help a lot in getting more players. Good luck with that!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! As for adding variety, I will definitely consider this. However, it will be against my original intent, which was to make the game kind of "meditative", by keeping it simple and requiring gradually more player focus just for avoiding red collisions in really tight spaces, which happens when you get to 200 or 300 points. I agree on the audio becoming annoying at times, it needs improvement.
