How does the game fit the theme?
The game is about pretending you know the rules of Backgammon.

The player is asked a series of questions about how Backgammon works, such as how many pieces it uses, what colors they are, what kind of dice are used, and even what board the game is played on.

Your answers gradually create the rules of your own version of "Backgammon." If you know the real rules, you can make something close to actual Backgammon. If you confidently answer everything wrong, you may end up creating a completely different and ridiculous board game.

Whatever happens, everyone keeps insisting:

"This is Backgammon!"

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The project uses third-party assets, including 3D models, sound effects, music, fonts, and other Unity assets that were created before the jam or obtained from asset stores / external sources.

Some existing code and development tools were also used as a base or for assistance during development.

All game-specific rules, gameplay systems, dialogue, level setup, and overall game design for "This is Backgammon!" were created for this project during the jam.
