Really clever little word game! The spy/code theme fits the mechanic nicely and it gets surprisingly challenging. THe sound effect for typing was very satisfying and the minimalistic look of the game made it kinda cozy. Fun concept overall, good job!

Simple but very fun to play, loved the sfx for typing. Well done!

Wow,good game! "Spain" wasn't recognized as a valid word although it is in the word list you used. Maybe a bug?

Simple game but implemented perfectly. the sound effects and graphics made me believe I really was a communist spy for a couple of minutes!

Ah, yeah I guess I was too aggressive with my pre-processing.  I filtered out stuff with capital letters to get rid of proper nouns.  In retrospect, I probably could have skipped that step and the game would have been fine.  Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Really cool game. I thought I was doing good until I tried hard mode lol!

Great! A simple game, made really well! It is enjoyable, challenging, and highly responsive. A highscore table or maybe a leaderboard would be a welcome addition :)

This feels like the perfect game to become a master of Wordle. But sadly I suck at Wordle LOL.

Simple game but great execution. UI is just enough for it needs to be. Good job!

dont get it, I had word debut I wrote tubed and it was wrong - why ? or TANGS->ANGST also wrong

Developer

The goal is to keep 3 letters in place, and only change 2 of them.

So DEBUT -> DEPOT (changed 3rd and 4th letter), or TANGS -> LUNGS (changed 1st and 2nd letter) would work.  I would have liked better visual feedback to indicate this, but ran out of time.

I really like where your brain went though!  I wanted to add bonus points for finding perfect anagrams like that, but ran out of time.  I'd say you're playing on "extreme" difficulty 😉

yuup I played all of difficulties - want to test anagrams - I like this type of logic games, thx for explanation

Code validated ! Since English isn't my native language, there are many simple words that I don't know. It's good that an easy level was included :).

This said, the concept works perfectly.

Haha that's okay. English is my native language and I still don't understand some of these words 😂.  I pulled them from a public repository.

Thanks for playing!
