A great little dice game, and with some more juice, this could be REALLY good!

I was a bit confused at first (I haven't played many dice games) but once I understood the rules this was really addictive. I have reached 19k in scores and I feel like I can go higher. The sfx and UI fit the game perfectly. Adding this to my collection because it's a pretty enjoyable way to pass my time (have you considered a playstore release? This is the perfect game to play during commute)

Very kind review thanks for playing.

We have recieved enough positive sentiment towards actually releasing the game, and it does play and perform well on mobile so we are looking into it and planning the features required to make it a "full game." I'll be sure to let you know when that is, and if you're interested we might look for people to test it for us :)

Very nice game!

I don't know if i should get a reward if i'm snake bit, but it is very much appreciated.

btw i think i broke something the first time i played :(  (i got blocked, all the dices were melded)

Good job!

Simple but very addictive!
I played so many rounds just to see if I can increase my high score. the highest I got was somewhere around 58k.I noticed that whenever there is a scenario where all dices get locked pressing roll dice softlocks the game

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Good job on the scores. Yea, unfortunately that bug slipped through the cracks. Already got it fixed but alas, the jam version remains.

Addictive. I always loved these kind of dice games like in KCD. Nicely put.

Thanks for playing!

Really fun game!! Once I fully understood the mechanics, I got completely addicted to rolling the dice XD I ended up playing for at least an hour! XD

I really love the sound of the dice rolling, and I especially like the idea of having the number 1 affect the dice around it! XD I actually managed to earn some extra points because of it too (

After all, trust no 1, right? XD

Developer

Wow, an hour! Thats awesome. Thanks for playing. What was your highscore in the end? Thanks! The dice rolling sound I recorded myself huddled under my desk because the rolling sounded better on the floor than my table!

Someone let me know if you've beaten this score! Absolutely crazy. Best yet, you've even beaten my record. Thanks for playing.

Cute. If this is your 1st game then AWESOMNESS right away! That’s a whole lot of gameplay in here!!

Developer

Appreciate it! This is our second game, thank you for the kind words.

Loved the game, very enjoyable, I managed to get scores between 20k and 40k somehow haha, The nstructions are very clear and that is a very good and important part for this kind of game. Overall, Great Job!

Developer

Thanks very much for the feedback and for playing. Great job on the scores

Awesome and enjoyable game. Very well made with great visuals and feedback. Has a protentional to become a big game, keep going!

Pretty fun managed to score 20k!

really good game, kinda remembered me of balatro, and the music was great, well done

Submitted

As someone who loves balatro and perudo/liars dice, I think this is a great game with lots of potential. I think it would be awesome if there were more melds and upgrades with game bending effects similar to balatro (or some kind of shop that incorporates jokers?) Also I encountered a softlock bug when I scored a meld with 1s which then locked all of my dice but still allowed me to reroll the dice and left all the buttons greyed out. All in all, great game! Well done.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words. I absolutely agree that there is more to add. Just made some mistakes in the architecture that made it difficult to add some crazier effects.

We had a full on shop with money and such as a stretch goal, but as you can see we didn't get to it during the jam.

There are a couple softlock issues with the ones effects, which I unfortunately didn't find until after the submission. Thank you for playing even after encountering one.

I never really played Balatro or any games like this, but this seemed really well made and I enjoyed it. I didn't  really read all the rules, but I seemed to get a hang of it pretty fast, good job on the game, it is really well made.

Developer

Thank you for trying the game! I'm glad you liked it. The rules have been a point of contention, but I'm working on it for another version of the game (outside of the jam, of course)

Submitted(+1)

That's a really good game! It deserves much more visibility than it got so far. I hesitated for a moment when faced with the need to read the rules. Once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it, playing 3 times and getting 20k-40k results. Visuals and audio are simple and pleasing, and fit the game well. High-score table was a good idea, you may also show it on the start screen. An easy-to-absorb tutorial might help a lot in getting more players. Good luck with that!

Developer(+1)

I really appreciate the kind words, thank you. I completely agree about the tutorial. Sadly we lost a few days of the jam to unexpected real life things so didn't have time for the tutorial. Thank you again.

Submitted(+1)

Pretty fun! got to 12k points pretty easily - one comment I have is that blocks of text instruction are a bit annoying to read, might be a better way to instruct the player on mechanics, but that can be hard to pull off in a week.

Decent sound design, music while minimalistic fits well.

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree completely about the poor tutorial, but alas, it's better than nothing. The song was made in an hour, 3hrs before the deadline as something came up for the person who was going to write the song for us. Appreciate you playing our game
