How does the game fit the theme?
Originally there was supposed to be a theme of trust no one through a shady game master witch that gives you wrong advice/misleads but we didn't get to add it in time. I guess trust no one to finish the game not even the game developer!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assets and code were made form scratch

How many people worked on the game?
11

This game has a lot of potential, I loved the character art. I hope you get a chance to develop it further.

The art is really good, and I can see the beginnings of a game that could be very good, but for all the people involved in this project this entry leaves a lot to be desired.

The controls are awkward and don’t feel responsive, NPCs get stuck at the edge of platforms, fundamental things like dying in spikes or lava are not implemented, etc.

Running a team of any size (but especially this large) requires a strong emphasis on organization and project management and to me it looks like this one was lacking project management.

Not finishing a project sucks. Try a smaller team with more emphasis on scope & project management next jam. Hopefully you still had fun and learned a lot!

thank you for playing the game!

to adress the team size part it actually was not a team of 11 people working at once, we encountered a lot of issues during that week like some members having little time to work and our main programmer having to quit, I had to bring a bunch of extra people midway to fill in positions but it still didn't pan out. There was a structure and a well laid out plan but a lot of external factors made it very hard to finish anything

It's a cute game. AND OH MY GOD YOU HAD 11 PEOPLE?! I just read that. Probably a typo. Good effort and glad I got to finish it.

Developer

thank you for playing! Actually no it's not a typo lol, a lot of things went wrong. I had to bring in 3 replacement people in the last 3 days

the pixel art on this is stunning, it's a shame you guys couldn't finish!! i'll still leave a few thoughts as it's a shame it wasn't complete </3
the art and little animations are so cute- i love the character designs! i don't think the controls feel very intuitive though, but that may be due to the character feeling quite floaty and slippery to control! a little health bar for the MC would be nice too :D
overall very solid premise!

Cute game! I especially liked the character design and the weapon ideas. The movement feels a little slippery, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Overall, really fun

独特な慣性はあれど、武器のアイデアやキャラクターの可愛らしさが魅力的でした。 キャラクターは無敵なのかな?

Developer

(sorry I only know english, I hope t's fine)

thank you for playing! The enemies can be killed if you shoot bubbles at them, it just takes a few hits, though defeating them doesn't do anything

Movement felt very smooth, my only issue was I kept getting stuck in the lava pit on the second level and the character slid around a bit too much for my liking

thank you for playing!!
i just realized that the full screen button messes up the pause menu. I changed it so it loads full screen on launching. now that the pause menu actually comes up there is an option lets you reset the level so it's not a soft lock!
