pretty solid mystery game! I liked the artstyle and the general presentation is very stroong
I liked that everyone is guilty to some extent in this mystery, though at times I did have to do a bit of trial ad error because some of the things I thought were clues actually needed more cards or it was meant for someone else. I thought the dialogue in general could have been a bit stronger, I found some of the phrasing to be a little confusing
Cool game! I like the visual style))
i struggle with getting into these types of detectives games gameplay. but i really like the atmosphere. the artwork is great. the setting feels really good. music fits it very well. great atmosphere to the game.
Really elaborate plot and dialogue! I don't really play detective games, but I enjoyed this one so much.
Really cool artstyle and unique gameplay. I was not really into the dialogue but made it to the end purely from the vibes. Good game!!
Really nice atmosphere and art, the plot was interesting and had me hooked to see the end. The only issue I noticed is that some text got cut off the textbox and I couldn't view it, but besides that it was great! This is also the only game in the jam I've played so far that actually has a tutorial and is understandable without having to read the itch page's description. Great job!
I love the atmosphere you have built. This polish is insane for a jam! The detective mechanics were great, and the story was very well made! Loved the ending.
the art direction is brilliant!! loved the gloomy vibe and character sprites, and the subtle lil animations were great :DD the gameplay is nice and smooth, but sadly i did miss some dialogue in text boxes due to it getting cut off or disappearing a lil too quick </3 overall a fun lil experience!!
SUPER COOL LOOKING GAME! The atmosphere and vibe of the game is super unique. You could really build on that enviroment.
Well, that was a well thought and nice game! If i had to tell something bad it would probably be that moving dialigue boxes up and down made me dizzy!
Yeah, pretty much everyone on the team was busy for most of the jam, so in reality we only had around 48 hours to actually work on the game. I barely had time to properly test the final build, and of course everything that could shift or end up in the wrong place somehow did
So I ended up uploading a few fixed builds after the deadline, mostly just to make sure the game at least looked the way we originally intended.
Thanks a lot for playing!
Nice artstyle! I find the the deductions a bit rigid and some of the though process is a bit handed out but it still felt good to go through it all. Made me think of the “Case of the golden idol” a bit
We actually spent quite a while discussing and planning the story. We mapped out the chains of facts, how they connect to each other, and what conclusions they eventually lead to. We tried to find a good balance so the investigation wouldn’t be too confusing, while still being interesting and giving the player that feeling of slowly putting the whole picture together.
Thanks a lot for playing!
Really cool! Great job! :D
Thank you)
Played on the stream today and left comments there!
Beautiful game. Nice ending :D
Thank you)
A fun detective case with not one, not two, but THREE red herrings. Also an impressive level of polish with the effects and movements of the cards
Thank you, we’re glad you liked it.
