Gave me a bit of a mega man vibe. simple and to the point. Solid.

heh, so you switch every door and you win :). at least i think.

Yeah i got past the first fire, not really sure how. they had the message to learn how to wall jump but didn't know how to do it mashing the WASD keys. i liked the art and music though.

Solid. Felt like something you could turn into a real game with more mechanics and levels. Great feel and vibe to it. simple and to the point.

I struggled with the gameplay a bit. was hard to figure out talking and what clue and hint to use and what they meant. Randomly accused a few people and maybe beat a few levels. i think the concept can work, i like the characters. Sorry if i was mean.

simple fun game. by the end of it i was good at using my number pad again. could have used some more complexity. maybe a don't shoot this color or progressing difficulty mechanic. solid for a week long jam.

this is a really good base to build a real game off of. already has a solid loop, good theme. just needs more polish and content like every other game made in less then a week. would have liked to be able to hire multiple people at once. great game.

had a nasty bug not letting you past chapter one. fixed. probably more i missed :). just a heads up. you might have to take damage to execute the "correct" sequence.

Enjoyed. Really good start to a game. Good loop. Solid game.
We only had a week so not judging and just pointing out, but the things that bug me the most is the ux, when i select something to build, the menu should get out of the way. Also i had no clue what the mechanic was that told me what the nightcrawlers were. other then that really solid. just needs more time to add content and polish everything.
A game similar to yours that might give you some inspiration. Gnomes on steam has a similar vibe.

Pretty fun little concept. i would have loved some hotkeys to pick which camera. also i had the targeting break and wasn't able to shoot after moving cameras sometimes. i agree with last post. could use levels and difficulty and such.

i got stuck around the fifth puzzle. probably just my own bad. solid start. just needs more time and fleshing out for a fun little puzzle game. missing wasd controls is rough :).

Music is really solid. The theme has a really good vibe to it. Gameplay has potential, but feels like it's not quite there yet. Basically you have 3 choices of what to do with your villagers, didn't feel a  huge amount of strategy but admittedly my knowledge of the game is weak. then going through the finding of the shapeshifters each night is a decent puzzle. and the game is basically a survival to see how long you can last?
i can see the potential. If UX wasn't as clunky to pick villagers and do other things. Understandable on the short time line to make it.

camera control didn't feel the best, probably don't even need it for this type of game. so I played through and, basically you ask a question to 8 characters, try to figure out the trustworthy one and off a couple you think are the bad ones each round? I felt like there was too much info before i was able to make an actual gameplay choice. So a little slow for me personally, but i understand just how limited the time we had for this was.
Good vibe, good setting. would be solid with more time spent on gameplay.

i couldn't figure it out started out in a room with no indication what to do besides wander out into a dark hallway. pitch black maze to start the game? i figure i might be missing things. also need an escape hatch in your game so people don't need to alt+f4 it.

I agree with visuals are really nice. vibe is really good. Gameplay felt like it could have used more time.  a faster retry level at game over would have been nice for us testers. took a second to figure out the typing game, felt like i just mash the keyboard then type a word when prompted, a little more complexity would have been good. and the move dots to where they should be game could have developed into something more. didn't fully get the puzzle on the last level, i was just brute forcing it. i missed the tactical game somehow, thought i hit all the levels.

Great feel to the game. gameplay could have used more time but we did not have much of that.

(1 edit)

appreciate you playing. you beat the first chapter. 3 more to go.  sometimes you gotta get hurt to break through. admittedly i needed more time to make it all flow better. you're supposed to be protected from some shocks when doing the escape sequence, don't think it's firing like it should.
And just found that bug myself, you are right, had a persistence issue that didn't show up when playing on my computer. Should be able to continue past chapter 1. Very appreciated for that bug report.

hopefully chapter 4 works.

3D puzzle game, balance odd shaped pieces on a one legged table in various modes. also a cozy builder mode with custom blocks.  Jenga like, Tetris a bit in one mode. Just launched the demo! full version early access in Steam imminent.
