Such an adorable character and a nice platformer puzzle game!
You were able to make a lot content in the week so nice work! The puzzle were interesting and the R to reset was good design choice. Used it a quite a bit which made me want to continue trying and not give up.
I really liked the concept and the puzzles where grat, I had some "a-ha" moments. The theme is like not too integrated in the game, but the plot twist saved it. Also, the boss was easy and it didn´t have any relation with the rest of the game. But, overall, I had a great time playing it!
Chef Potato is a fun little game with a really charming concept. The levels are simple enough to feel approachable, but complex enough that you still have to stop and think about how to solve some of them. That balance made the puzzles quite enjoyable for me.
The one thing I didn’t like as much was the fact that you can collect the recipes with your projectile. This made some levels feel a bit too trivial, since you could essentially bypass parts of the intended puzzle.
I also feel like the theme was slightly missed. The idea that you can’t trust the chefs is fun, but since you can always trust that they’re enemies, there isn’t really much uncertainty involved. I think there could have been some interesting gameplay opportunities around that concept.
Overall, though, it’s a cute and enjoyable little puzzle game with some satisfying levels. Definitely worth giving it a try if you like short, quirky puzzle games!
Very clever, the puzzles are bite sized (pun intended) but there are plenty of light bulb moments. I enjoyed it a lot!
