How does the game fit the theme?
You're a sheepdog: get the herd into the pen before the horn. The complication is that wolves have learned to wear wool — a disguised wolf uses the same sprite as the sheep standing next to it.
Only behaviour gives it away. A wolf lags behind the herd, keeps a wider berth from you, drifts off when you aren't looking, and never stops to graze.
But some sheep are just stupid. They wander, they freeze, they act guilty for no reason — and biting one costs you points. Every suspicion is a wager: act and you might be wrong, wait and the wolf eats your flock.
No suspicion meter, no reveal. Just a field of identical white animals and the growing sense that one of them is watching you back.

Very cute
I really like the art. But couldn't find the wolfs
Thanks a lot! I also like your game!
It is an interesting take on the theme. Dog animations and transition animations are great.
Thank you so much! I really like your game's art😉
Really charming and original! The cute comic art, animations and music all fit together perfectly, and running around as the dog trying to sniff out wolves in sheep’s clothing is such a fun idea. Accidentally taking out an innocent sheep in the process made me laugh too. I even enjoy just running around going bark bark bark. :-D
Thank you so much! I also enjoyed playing your game!😆
Attracted by the dog image on the cover and then found myself spend an hour listening to dog barks.
Very interesting concept. The controls are extremely smooth and responsive. And the sfx works perfect with the arts, especially on scene changes.
It's just so hard for me to find the wolves. I'm not very good at noticing subtle visual differences. I think it would be more fun if there's also some audio clues to identify a wolf, like a heavier footstep, or a deeper breath.
Thank you! I also enjoyed playing your game😃 Yeah the wolves hide really well and only leak their tails every few seconds. Yet it's a bit tricky to tune the 'leak' interval and duration to balance the difficulty and the 'fun' part of 'trusting no sheep'. Great idea about addjng some spatial sound cues! We'll try implement that. But overall I'd say this is why human needs dogs, and having dogs around has made this a better world!😉
Yeah, every now and then, from the place where the wolf is located from the dog, there's a deliberately queit but still heavy breath, just heavy enough to give it's direction away. I think it will change the whole gameplay strategy as well. Before that I would try to herd the sheeps in one direction, to the pen. Now I'd herd them in all directions first so as to find out the wolf, and then herd them all together to the pen. Glad to see you'll try to implement it. Can't wait to play that! And yes, dogs are the best!
It's really fun herding the sheep around, and the visuals look really nice! In one of my runs, all the sheep disappeared after I kicked the wolf out near the pen. Nice work overall!
Thank you so much! Yeah that was a nasty bug that we're still trying to fix hehe. Will keep it updated until everything runs smoothly!
i love the animations, good game
Thansk for playing! Glad that you like it😆🐶
Hello everyone! I made the art for this game, including the animations for the wolf, the sheep, and the sheepdog, as well as the background textures. The art style was inspired by Shaun the Sheep and The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales. Hope you enjoy the game!
🐑🐑🐶🐶awesome work!
I loved this game! Super cute and chill. The flock behavior feels nice, I could be moving those sheep around all day.
Thanks a lot! I also really like your game!
Great game! I love the artwork!
Thank you so much! Love your game, too!
greatly polished game. gotta love dog games. the scene transition is a great touch. I think the wolf needed to scatter the sheep if you got too clsoe more or another difficulty challenge maybe. Often times too the sheep would get bugged onto the collision of the fence and get stuck. they need to be slightly large collision boxes for the fence i think. but great game spammed the boof all game.
Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun playing your game, too!
Yes, we designed some specific behaviors for the wolves and sheep. For example, wolves never eat grass, they tend to wander away from the flock, and they respond much more slowly to dog barks. The sheep will also randomly get frightened by a wolf and flee, though as the levels progress and there are simply too many sheep, this becomes less obvious. Also, a wolf will reveal its true appearance every few seconds (mostly noticeable by its tail), and it will eat a sheep if the dog is far enough away.
Starting at Lv 3, we added "dumb sheep"—these are actual sheep that behave like wolves (except for eating sheep) to trick the player even more😉. But in general, since it's a cozy game, we didn't want to punish the player too much for missing a wolf. Just spamming the bark and bite buttons felt quite fun during our dev phase haha.
And yes, the friction was fixed! I simply forgot to change its default value hehe. I guess I'm the dumb sheep now🐑!
Great game! I love how simple and enjoyable this is. Art and music is so good.
Once after killing wolf all my sheeps disappeared, even though there was still a lot of time left in round
Thank you so much! I also enjoyed playing your game!
Yeah, that was a nasty bug. I’ve been trying to fix the friction, impulse, and collision boundaries, but nothing has improved. At this point, I can only assume the wolves in the game are secretly chewing on my code haha😆 But if I do manage to fix it, I’ll be even happier than that sheepdog in the game!
No way we made a very similar one to this! This was really well done! loved the art and the SFX (especially the barking)!
The only critique I have is that the sheep get stuck on obstacles. Maybe you could add pathfinding? Or lower the friction so they can roll off?
Wow that's awesome! I also loved your game idea! And good catch! The friction was set to the default 1.0, which resulted in all the sheep becoming extremely sticky… It's fixed now, and the wool should feel as smooth as silk😉.
Excellent submission to the jam! Loved the art, play was smooth, even when you restart the round, I loved the sheep transition going across the screen. Nice work!
Thanks for playing the game! We also really enjoyed watching the flock walk together hehe😊
There was a wolf in the pen. Farmer 's not going to be happy
A good sheepdog's job is to help herders protect their sheep, woof woof🐑🐑🐕!
Fun game barking like crazy (altho I think I broke the bark a couple of times...)
Very unique way for the theme and I liked it. The art was cute and the sounds and music fitted perfect.
I had troubles with sheeps being stuck so I couldn't get them unstuck very easily. And I don't know if left mouse worked cause I didn't see a wolf go away or an animation for it.
Overall a real fun small game. Made it until the bridge over the water.
Thanks for playing our game! Yeah the wolves are master disguisers haha, they only 'leak' every 2~5 seconds. We'll adjust their behavior a bit more so they become more noticeable;) You see some confetti particles with sfx, and the wolf fleeing when you bite the right one😆I also enjoyed playing your game!
