Developing a soccer game is highly complex, especially when it comes to programming the AI for all the computer-controlled players. You have done an impressive job with this. After playing a couple of matches, I did notice one area that feels a bit off. The traitor mechanic seems slightly out of control at the moment. It feels like that player runs around randomly in any direction and scores goals without clear intent or strategy. Tuning this behavior slightly could make the gameplay feel much more balanced. You can't rely on the guy, which may be on purpose?

Exactly! The player AI system took up almost all of my time during the jam, so I had to simplify the traitor mechanic quite a bit compared to my original idea. The unpredictable behavior was actually intentional to some extent, but I agree that it could use some more tuning to make it feel more balanced and purposeful.
