A very nice effort, felt very nostalgic of a PS1 game with the fixed camera angles/tank style character controller. Environment reminded me of something out of a souls game too which i appreciated!

Would love to see a bit more refinement to the controller! It did get a bit fiddly when changing angles trying to figure out which way was what, but i commend your efforts on it in such a short time! Nice work!

I finished the first level but screwed up on the second one because I pushed a box the opposite direction if only you had a replay button I could have continued but I am not doing the first level again running around for the door timer is tiring but I enjoyed this very much. here is another criticism I had besides the control the jumps feel too airy and floaty it could be tightened a little and maybe a sound but the atmosphere and the sounds and the designs are really cool.

I also have a question do we figure out who put the bucket on our head and how do we see things if its a bucket thank you

Hello thanks for playing my game !

I'm happy to see that you could finish at least 1 level, you can push the box when it is against a wall in the opposite direction. You can restart the level by pressing escape and then press play, it will restart the level you were currently at.

And to awnser your question, nobody put the bucket on our head, we just slipped onto it, it was there, alone, sad...

And we can't see through the bucket, we just guess which direction to go with cerebral wave

thanks for the juicy lore lol

I stacked two boxes on top of each other I have no idea I could not get them back to how it was I don't know at the time it felt like a mistake

I thought the atmosphere and charging action was cool! The camera switching was kind of disorienting, and I wasn’t sure what to do after I moved the box.

Hello, thanks for playing my game

So, to open a gate (in black) you need to pull a lever (in this case, the lever in the beginning of the level)

I should have make this clearer

The lever is deactivating after a few seconds  and you can pass through the hole you have freed to have the time to pass the gate and access to the end of the level

And then you'll access to the next level

Love the aesthetic, hate RE-like camera. Controls are wonky and really unintuitive, sometimes - W is forward or sometimes it's left or right. There is a lot of holes in your maps where you could just jump off to the void. But man, the fog and primitive geometry is really selling the vibe. Personally, in addition to disabling shadows, I would've probably used baked lightning. Did you build this levels using trenchbroom or used other tools?

Btw, thanks for linux build

Hey thanks for playing my game, yeah I didn't really knew how to make the controls less clunky and I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the holes in the map, I don't want to make excuses for myself but I'm still a beginner in game dev, I hope you could make it to the final boss fight

And for how I built those levels, I just used a lot of planes

I've completed the game. Turns out I dropped it right before the boss battle. So, boss fight is ok. I pretty much boils down to just stand in the right hole until demon is ready to be punched by a crate. It was really hard to tell when I can hit the demon. A lot of my attempts were wasted because I peaked from the hole, thinking it's time to kick only to die because of ray or miss with box, because it was just moving.

But! I would like to see this game finished. You should invest time in learning trenchbroom and it's integration with Godot.
