How does the game fit the theme?
To trust something is to believe it's true. In a school setting where rumors fly about, the player must determine whether to trust a rumor is true and worth writing down, or believe it is false and scrap it. The only thing you can really trust is what you see with your own eyes.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Tilesets, sounds, and MOST sprites are free assets.

Cute little game. My brain is stuffed flying rumors and murmuring now.

An interesting take on the theme, great work!

I often found I would just stand and deal with the floating messages rather than walking around because I didn't seem to be able to do anything in the environment anyway. Wasn't sure how the points system worked.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah my initial idea was that you could walk around and drag a rumor to an NPC and they would say something about it, but I couldn't get it to work. As for the points, it's just a simple scoring system based on how many rumors were correctly sorted.

General premise of the game was ok, I do wish the game play was a little more complex but good effort.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah there were a lot of things I wish I could have added like interrogation mechanics but I didn't want to fall to scope creep.
