I'm impressed by how sprites despite being so different and mismatching in styles still form some kind of style overall.

On gameplay: very original way to present jump, kinda fun realising that you just can't jump off plain ground, level layout is really convoluted, took me obscene amount of time to figure out where to go (so much in fact, that i started counting bugged infinite jump as an intended feature), also kill triggers could use some more visualisation.

But overall i liked it, even gives off some metroidvania vibes at some points

Thanks !

For the sprites it was one of the main difficulties I had I think. I had the idea of what I wanted to do in the game, but I'm not an artist, I don't want to team-up with others yet because I'm still very unexperienced and don't want to be a burden, and I had to find things that worked with the idea and are free / not very expensive (as I don't have a lot of money hahah but if I do some day I will make donations to artists whose work helped me or stands out).

I'm very glad you like the jump-thing gameplay, it's been a while I wanted to try this and I was curious about how people would react to it. I think I'll build a more complete version of the game with this (and improved directions and visible death zones, I did try but I didn't have enough time and things were very ugly lmao).
