Hey! I played through both levels, and I really liked them! I've never played a game with these mechanics before, so it took a while for me to understand the best angles and how long to hold to bounce. But once you understand the movement, it becomes really satisfying to pull off.

I think the one thing I kept thinking about that I wanted to see from this project was a visual indicator of how far you will jump. Perhaps the orb you sit on squashing down further and further? Or particles that shoot out of the orb?  Otherwise, I think the feedback was very nice. I like how the player character slightly lunges off of the ball when they bounce up. And the particle trail behind the orb gives the bounce physicality.

Adding audio to this project will help tie this experience together, so I'm glad you plan on doing so!

Overall a very fun entry. I could see this being part of some rage game; having the theme of mentally and physically stabilizing yourself with the potential to fall down gives me massive "Getting Over It" vibes. Great stuff!

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I really like your ideas for showing the jump strength through the orb itself. I actually experimented with a trajectory preview at one point, but I ran into some issues and ended up leaving it out. The visual feedback is definitely something I’d like to improve in the future.

And yes, the game has audio now!  I find it funny that it reminded you of Getting Over It. The mechanics do have quite a lot of similarities. I’m also glad you enjoyed the movement once you got the hang of it. Thanks for playing both levels and for the kind words!
