How does your art incorporate the theme?
How pathetic must you be to still fantasize about those quote-on-quote halcyon days? Its been years. They don't matter anymore, and they never did. I bet she doesn't even remember them, or you.

A bit of an unorthodox take on "fantasy", but I like that! Also your color use is fantastic!
This is really well made, the buildings are great, the humans look really difficult to draw and the grass i love. The use of color is also the best I've seen in this Jam so far. The only part where it really falls off for me is the theming. I don't see any fantasy here apart from the purple sky and the yellow grass i suppose. I just wish it stuck with the theme a more. Other than that, beautiful art work
I went with a non-literal interpretation instead - 'fantasy' being the ideal world that the POV would have preferred to live in, rather than having to grow up :D
Amazing in so many ways, especially the planets smile :)

This has Stranger Things vibes!
Thanks, I've never actually watched stranger things, for I am part of the no subscriptions gang
Maybe if there was 80s nostalgia but instead of 80s its 2010s and there was creeper aw man playing in the background I would cave
But there isn't, so now I must be the change I want to see
Wow. The energy of the characters contrasted with the yellow field of grass and the somber purple sky really gets me. At first I thought it was a missed opportunity to not have the shadows be holding something fantastical like a sword or bow, but looking at it like this, like a moment you had a long time ago without that same perspective, that really hits you.
Thanks! If ever you find yourself on an epic adventure, please remember that bow can run out of arrows, but you can never run out of broom
The emotion in this piece is digging right into my heart, holy moly. The more I look at it, the more I want to cry?
It feels like the brightest memory, but also carries a gentle sadness of a time long passed.
