A really well-made game for a solo developer! Liked the menu, the artwork and also the gameplay! Just some confusion on how the tools work. Also the words on the sticky notes are small and hard to read for me.

How does the game fit the theme?
Trust no "one", no singular, only plurals.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything except for a few shaders and all the fonts, credited in the description!

Really interesting concept! It feels like a people-counting version of Papers, Please XD I really like how literally it interprets the "Trust No One" theme!
The different rules also made me curious about what kinds of situations would show up later in the game. Definitely a very unique take on the theme!!
I liked how chill this was. The rules didn't seem to stop :o it got more and more complex. I was very much second guessing myself at the end. Is it a clone or a twin or a doll hoooly. Great ideas for these mechanics. Also a lot of the random dialog keeps it entertaining throughout!
This game was really fun! The art style is pretty nice and it managed to be kind of creepy at times. The music was a little anxiety inducing at first but it added to the experience. It's all very tongue in cheek and the dialogue is pretty funny. Fun game overall! I also really like the main menu, the camera angles are kind of fun.
I liked the game and the concept, but I didn't really understand how the different tools worked or how the rule applied, like twins or dolls or ghosts.
Liked the game and the art style. Didn’t know how to use heartbeat monitor. I am stunned that the game was made by 1 person
Great job on the game, got some feedbacks after playing for a while:
- Some texts need revision, for example the rules on the top right say "more than 2", when I believe you want to say "2 or more" / "more than 1".
- In the first level there is a single guy that appears but it if I reject him I get a point taken, I believe there is a mismatch between visuals and data.
- I wasn't able to reliably identify dolls, that might be a skill issue on my part though.
But overall great execution on a very creative idea!
Oh I actually never realized about the "more than 2" one! Thank you so much, haha. I don't know if it's ok to change it now though.
And can you explain the steps you did for the first level guy? I tried reproducing it, I didn't encounter any issues... (Sorry if we are making this into a playtesting session haha, but feel free not to as well)
But otherwise, thanks for the feedback and playing!
Of course! I remember that the NPC said some joke about kicking his mom, he appeared alone and the heartrate monitor showed only 1 heartbeat and the monitor showed him alone. I gave the 1 entity + Reject and consistently got an error. Might be something I'm missing though, but I couldn't figure it out.
Nice game! Cool how quick you get the hang of it and are unstoppable, you really get the feeling of the character you're playing.
