The game doesn't reset the food from the last run. You can also select a food that you want to place and just hover it over the placing area, and rotten foods will shoot at it. The food that you haven't yet placed can rot, and when that happens it gets placed in the world without you paying any money (and it can get placed on the enemy path in this way too).
I do like tower defense games, and it has a nice idea. The only problem is the shortness, and effects. stacks up against bloons!
Had a lot of fun seeing how many towers I could stack in one spot!

Played it now: Nice little tower defense game.
Small remark: The game does not scale for different resolutions (in my case, it took 2/3 of the screen and the rest was gray). You can fix that by changing Stretch mode and aspect in the project settings. Also maybe a fast forward button would be a nice addition.
