How does the game fit the theme?
The player must question people, compare their answers with evidence, find contradictions, and identify the criminal.
The challenge isn't just finding clues. It's deciding who to believe and who is manipulating you.
Ask. Investigate. Doubt everyone. Trust no one.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made some scripts from scratch
i didn't understand what this means

Its a very nice idea and really fits the theme, perhaps you could add a webexport for the next jam though, it was quite the hassle to set up.

Thank you! Glad you liked the idea and thought it fit the theme. And yeah, I definitely understand the web build thing. I’ll try to make it easier to play next time so nobody has to fight the setup before fighting the criminals.

The room is designed well and the cases are nice. I do think it feel a little all over the place, for example the info is thrown at the player at the beginning and I'd rather have minimal info that expands as the investigation goes, and the order of the Q&A with the suspects is a bit inconsistent. One more thing is the use of AI for the drawings, I'm 90% sure it's used for the suspects and very sure about the game logo, I'd prefer low-quality hand drawn by far.

Nice detective game. What I didn't like was the timer for the questions. I read all the papers first and after asking a question and getting the answer I had to wait longer than I needed. It would also be nice to be able to be able to read the old answers. Managed to find the right suspect in the end :)

Developer

Haha, thank you!

Yeah, that timer was my genius idea of “adding pressure.” Turns out I just made you wait for no reason.

The old answers thing is a really good point though. I’ll definitely add that next time.

Glad you found the right suspect in the end. Thanks for playing!

I like puzzles, and you did a great job on this one in such a short time!
The art style is super cool, excellent work!

Really enjoyed the game! I loved the ticket-checking mechanic, it was absolutely amazing and really satisfying.

The only thing I’d improve is making the text on the tickets a bit clearer, since it was sometimes hard to read. But overall, it was really fun to play!

Interesting Idea. I liked the art style and I thought the game made for an interesting puzzle. My only complaint would be the minute long timer between asking questions.

Developer

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you liked the art style and the puzzle idea. ❤️

And yeah, I completely understand the complaint about the one-minute timer. I wanted to add some tension to the investigation, but I can see how it could feel a bit too long, especially when you’re trying to piece everything together.

Really appreciate the honest feedback! It’ll definitely help me improve the game. 🎮
