Hey, I noticed your game because we used the same asset pack for our gamejam. I really enjoyed your game. I played it for like 3 hours and all the way to the end :D

This was my comp at the end:

I had some FPS issues starting at wave 5, which seemed to increase when all units were walking. When I placed a wall and all units started attacking the fps issues were not that bad.

I noticed that you can control the enemy units when you have a free way to your castle. When I wanted the enemy to stop and fight instead of moving forward I would place a wall for a short amount of time and afterwards delete it to get them to move forward instead.

I also really like your user interface. You did a way better job with the assets than I did.

Really nice game! :)

Really cool game! I especially love the design. The hammer mouse icon and click sounds are great.
There is a small typo in your credits "desing".
The game is really well guided with the tutorial! Something that I wish we had done for our game.
The used font really fits well. Ingame notepad is an awesome feature.
I didn't notice immediately that I could switch between Sophia & James for questioning, which is why I used all my questions for Sophia. Maybe that can be made a bit more obvious for the user.
Do we get any information if the defendant actually was guilty or not?

Really cool and creative game! Especially for a solo project! Well done! :)

Going to take a look at your game right now :)

Nice mapdesign and interesting that each round can be different.

I tried helping each character once and got the ending that everyone was dead
Then I denied helping each character once and got the same ending
Third playthrough the little girl killed me.

Jumping mechanic and implementation seemed unfinished
tree colliders could use some work as well

Good work! :)

I will try your game out now :)

This is our autobattler game where your units can betray you :)
/jam/brackeys-16/rate/4937034

This might be one of my favorite games of the jam! I love incremental games and this hit all the right spots :)
Also reminded me a bit of our game because of the autobattle part when the inquisitors arrive. After I upgraded everything to max the fights take a long time, so maybe a speed up would be nice to have at some point.

Would like to see this idea expanded on after the game jam :)

Loved dashing around the map

I wish kicking mid air was a bit more fluid and didn't stop your momentum to make it more smooth

I actually really liked the dialogue and the options provided.

Sadly I only managed to play until day 2 because I couldn't manage to continue. I guess you had to do a double jump from that platform with the tree towards the big wall to the right, but I just couldn't get it to work. I already had issues with the double jump right at the beginning.

Do you have any advice?

Thanks for playing! Just checked out your VOD :)

Greetings from the BYTESIZED livestream :)
I played your game in parallel and it is a really good ragegame :D Managed to get to the big orange before I had to ragequit :D
Nice work! :)

Hello there, coming from the BYTESIZED GAMES livestream and saw that your game is up next and decided to try it out :)
I really enjoy the design of your game page. Looks really cool.
The game REALLY is an unfair platformer :D I had to try very often to even get past the normal jumps at the beginning. Would be nice to have an easier mode with a little bit less wide hitboxes for noobs like me :D The inverted controls afterwards gave me the rest :D
It is a nice challenge! :)

Really cool amongus like game :)
I really like the map and command center designs. They look really good. Assinging the tasks feels very satisfying.
I crashed the spaceship two times :D It's a real challenge.

What did not work for me was stabilizing the generator. Whenever I tried to do it manually the game seemed to freeze for me. I just always assigned someone to that job and that worked for me.

Nice submission! :)

Going to play your game right now :)

Short and sweet game :) I found the green crystal and two red crystals. Is the red crystal below the green one actually reachable? I couldn't make the jump. I actually thought that you would have a second ending with that red crystal after a "fake ending" with the green one, because I could still move after finishing.

I like the jumping animations of the character. Would be nice if there were more levels :)

Always looking for constructive feedback :)

Going to play yours now :)

Is it still possible to submit? :) Watching right now

Really fun game, didn't see anything movement based like that for the jam :)
I am happy that I found the remote :D
How did you create the map?
Good job! :)

Very nice game, I got really hooked! I love games with such huge upgrade paths! :)

Going to try your game now :)

Really nice game! I like the aesthetics of the shop. The design of all the textures, assets and characters looks really good and well put together. The music fits well to the vibe.

I also like the various types of things that are being sold. Some unknown lot items, where you are basically gambling. People who are asking for a loan. Some people something specific and you sell them something else. It makes it feel less monotone.

It can get really frustrating when people keep offering you less money than you bought it for. Not in a negative way, but in a way that you are getting emotionally invested in the game. I like that!

I don't have anything to critique about the game, except that I wish that it had more content. More items, more upgradepaths, ...

Sadly I made a few bad deals and didn't win the game, but I really enjoyed playing :)

Going to try your game now :)

My team just decided that we would like to continue developing our game after the game jam. We will probably rework a few fundamentals of our game, where we noticed that it didn't work out that well, but the basic idea should stay the same.

What about you guys? Do you continue or do you want to try something new?

Just FYI: It is still allowed to upload web and multiplatform support until tomorrow :)

Going to play your game right now :)

Nice detective game. What I didn't like was the timer for the questions. I read all the papers first and after asking a question and getting the answer I had to wait longer than I needed. It would also be nice to be able to be able to read the old answers. Managed to find the right suspect in the end :)

Gonna try yours now :)

Really gorgeous UI! And also a pretty unique idea. Haven't seen anything like it this jam. Nice work! :)
WebGL version would be nice

Hey, I liked the idea that you had with your game, but as you mentioned, it is not quite ready :D
Could have been a cool game with the marketplace map for upgrades and then the swordfighting stage.
How did you like godot? :)
Looking forward to your next gamejam with more experience in Godot and more time :)

The game does not load for me.
I just get a grey screen after the godot loading screen.

nice game and good idea! :)
Suggestions for improvement:
- artstyle could be a bit more consistent.
- Rotating and dismissing could be made a bit more easier. I had a few misclicks here

Nice work! :)

Really funny game :D I loved the kind of suspects you used for the game

Suggestions for improvement:

- It wasn't 100% intuitive for me that I have to click on the questions from the letter to ask the questions. Adding a hover effect should probably already help a bit. Could also add key shortcuts to them to make it even clearer. Also the clickbox for the questions only worked on the words. Extending the clickbox to the whole row could help as well.

- It also wasn't clear that suspects could get new questions and I should go back to them. You could add some kind of indicator to show it.

Cool entry! :)

Managed to finish the game. The ambush at the end of the game really got me! :D
I like the drifting effects and sound. The designs are really nice as well. Driving was good but maybe an inverted control when driving downwards could be better. Not sure about it.

Cool entry! :)
