How does the game fit the theme?
Pic-Me-Not is a photography thriller game following a freelancer's photography gigs to earn money for a new camera. However in this unnamed town some citizen have their own... quirks... and not a single one of them is how they appear to be.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

5/5 game. Love the atmosphere and reading the "News" lore, kinda sets the whole thing. Also the whole style is very uneasy, just can't stop doubting these people I photograph. Really nailed the overall theme "Trust no One". Awesome job!
cool?
Very nice visuals that really put the creepy atmosphere well! I also liked the little newspaper in the game that you guys added. The narrative and visuals make a really well a untrusthworthy feeling towards the npc's and location, which fits the theme well.
Man why are so many entries so creepy? This one feels like a crushed beetle... ugh. That means you guys did a good job I think!
My favourite part was everyone congratulating me on being a great photographer, while telling me exactly how to do my job. You had me inching with all the characters, not knowing which one is going to turn.
This entry is dripping with atmosphere, you really nailed the creepiness and the character art is really good it gives me No i'm not a human vibes. the mechanic is also very unique it really stands out and it adds a lot to the uncomfortable scenarios
Really enjoyed that game, it was really cool and what got me playing quite long on this game was that mysterious thriller aspect, almost detective like, the visuals really highlights the mood, great job on the gameplay as well, it's pretty smooth, congrats for this entry, one of the best i could've play so far !
thanks from the team. your team's game are also one of the best we played. the art style are seriously one of the best we've seen in the jam so far
love the artstyle and use of the gameplay to make an unsettling vibe! I couldn't pass Eleanor's third request (couldn't find anything), and I feel like the game should have ended by then anyway since we had the required $1500 for a camera... but it was still very fun to play!
i feel after the jam we will update that part. there's an aspect there that would bring you to the ending of the game, that involves taking pics around aimlessly. i believe we could increase the implication that you are to do something with the photography aspect since it wasn't really clear what to do then
Interesting game. I like the UI and the starting screen where the player can input their names a lot!
The art style is so appealing yet so creepy! You definitely nailed the creepy vibe and the gameplay is simple but engaging. Good job!
God this visual style is so freaking cool, you've completely nailed the atmopshere and eerie aesthetic you should be really proud of this
Cool visuals! You've managed to create a really creepy atmosphere with such cozy-looking locations. Good job!
Loved the vibe, overall I think this is really good. Nice Job!
Dude the characetrs are so creepy, but thats what I really liked, the whole vibe was crazy! Fun!
It was great, not much else needs to be said. Really liked the mechanics in particular!
I like the creepy feeling of the game, and the small storylines makes the experience more creepy. And the visual is so cool!!!
Really loved the vibe of the game great work.
looks really cool but i couldnt do the first level because im using the scroll on my trackpad and it could only go between too zoomed out and too zoomed in
we hadn't thought about trackpads honestly. but now we know. thanks for bringing it up
Very interesting gameplay concept and a cool jam entry. I like the visual style too. The different quirks of each character really make you feel a bit untrust of your client at first. Nice job!
Amazing game! I really like the art style. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the game as I got stuck around Eleanor's third request cuz i couldnt find her after the ghost person whatever. The textures and stuff are a little blurry and anti aliased, but idk if its intentional or not cuz it does kinda add to the unsettlingness(?). Also the footsteps put u on ur toes, and I like that. The apartments have buggy collisions cuz u can fall out of the map sometimes along with being easily able to see beyond bounds. You should make a ground for those.
