I loved your use of character portraits to convey location as well as facial expressions; it’s such a clever use of assets! The characters and their dialogue were so fun as well; I have a special fondness for the dragon, and wish him better luck in future card games!
A very cute story through and through! Really comedic, really fun, seriously charming. The dynamics between the characters kept making me laugh! Its a small detail, but I love how you customized the text to match tone/volume. I feel it isn't common, which made it all the more enjoyable! And, like others have already noted, I really enjoyed the animations for movement! Great work!!
Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear the text effects/customization worked like I'd hoped. There was some worry I had about whether they were helpful or a hindrance due to my reliance on them at certain points so I'm glad to hear they worked!
This was just adorable and so funny! I love the princess and the dragon teaming up together, it's such a fun subversion of the theme that I think works really well. I've never seen a VN using this format for the visuals but it works so well - I loved watching them all run around! And the little animations for ducking/jumping were just so cute. I think some audio would sweeten the experience, but I also know the timing was so short do I don't blame you for prioritising other things. Well done!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! After playing some of the other entries (yours included) I'm just so honored to have received any sort of feedback from such talented game devs. And everyone has been so nice to boot!
Totally agree about the audio! Something I want to put more priority in next time around.
This was such a cute game! I loved the look of it, it reminded me a lot of old edutainment flash games and is full of charm. Only wished there was a main menu to match it, but it’s not like it completely breaks the experience.
The story itself was really fun! The dynamic between the princess and dragon was so sweet in seeing how they became friends, and the banter between them all was genuinely enjoyable. There were a few errors that did take me out of it (namely errors in file names from options, but it’s a quick fix at least.) Over all it was a fun read and a neat little game that I really enjoyed!!
This is incredible! A witty writing, expressions on characters' faces were priceless! Especially Dragon's! ;) I really appreciate that each of the characters had their own "voice", I think I could tell whom the line belonged to most of the time without looking at the tag!
Thanks for playing! And thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it. With my rather...limited art skills (lol) focusing on character voice was something I was hoping would shine through. So, I'm glad to hear it did!
Thank you so much! This whole coding thing is still new to me so even the motions were quite the accomplishment for me! I'm glad to hear you liked them.

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!
I totally agree, a main menu to match would help a tone :/ I just need to get a bit better at planning. So that is a great note for next time!
I sadly also caught a lot of those errors after posting and just full face palmed, lol.
