I played through with a buddy and we didn't get to the end, but what we did play didn't really feel like a game. I kinda wished it had been a more serious game, instead of just trying to troll the player. Some of the long hallway text was funny but it got a bit old after the first several signs. We just weren't really sure what we were supposed to be doing.

We initally just gave up after the rickroll but tried it again after reading the game's page. The torches kept scaring the crap out of my buddy, which was pretty fun. I'm glad he played through it, though, because I don't like mazes or puzzles and was getting frustrated even just watching. We eventually quit again because we got stuck in a loop and couldn't progress. Good effort, but not for me.

Thanks for giving it a try with your buddy! Totally understand your point - this is definitely a niche genre. It’s built specifically around meta-humor, misdirection, and puzzle-mechanics where signs and logic can actively work against you. If you're not into mazes, trick puzzles, or rage-lite mechanics, it can definitely feel more frustrating than fun.

It's not trying to be a deep narrative or a serious adventure; it's a tight interactive experiment/troll-puzzle game where figuring out how the game is messing with you is the gameplay loop. And it has a beginning, it has an end (final room), and that half-puzzle, half-troll journey from Start to End. Pretty much a game if you ask me :D

Appreciate the honest feedback anyway, and glad at least the torch scares gave you and your friend a few laughs!

P.S. You better not try Escape Room games on Steam - they force you to stop every 10-15 minutes because you have no idea what to do, unless you run through every room and item all over again to connect the dots. Not that fun unless you're a real escape room lover.

P.S. What would you personally recommend adding to the game to make it feel like a proper game to you? Thanks!
