How does the game fit the theme?
Can you really trust anyone when you are working as an antiquarian? Some people are not so innocent as they may look like, don't trust them when they bring new precious item, it may be fake, trust only your tools and your instincts.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Real photos of documents and wine labels;
font (https://yukipixels.itch.io/boldpixels );
VFX effects (excluding music and customer's mumbling)

How many people worked on the game?

Very cool Papers Please-like game! Its interesting to inspect which iw which and I love how each of the items have their own properties that could be considered fake or not. Though I do find the gameplay a bit repetitive at times, maybe because of the repetitive characters and interactions but I completely understand it being so in a game jam setting! Pretty cool visuals and simple audio, but works well! Great work!

Love this game - very clever to use real documents/labels. I felt bad for denying the granny every time, but she was a bit of a scammer. The audacity to lie to my face about the item's weight when I have a scale right there... Unbelievable!

Thank you!

Is wine being magnetic a real thing? (not a wine person so I don’t know lol)

I really like items being separated into classes  that have a guide and specific rules, its straight to the point and super easy to pick up! I like the really obviously suspicious guy in the trenchcoat, he looks out of place in the best way possible.

I am not sure if wine can be magnetic, but I think if any liquid somehow reacts to magnets, you probably shouldn't drink it XD

Thanks a lot for your kind words!

Like the core gameplay, but i don't understand the money system. Good job tho

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The money system is quite simple: you need to meet your quota, or your uncle won't be happy :)
