How does the game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme because you are taught to not trust everybody you invite into your house for the party, any one of them could be a vampire.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
pixabay for some images and uses freesound for a few of the sounds we needed. Most things we made ourselves

Wow! I didn't expect to see a No, I'm Not A Human inspired game in this jam but its a good choice! The voices are really goods and the visual style is great too. Not sure if its a bug, but some of the guests would say they were showing their invites, but nothing would show up. The game was fun and I enjoyed the ability to ask as many questions as I want (and shoot whoever I want :D). It's a shame this doesn't have more ratings. Great job on this one!
Really cool game with a great art style. I also appreciate how much freedom the player has, including doing things that they probably aren't supposed to do (such as kill the host). Even if I'm not supposed to, I appreciate that I can. Great game!

woowww this is so cooll i definetly mess with the artstyle and the game loop is fun ,but i dont have anything stopping me from just not aloowing anyone in lol, and i also killed the tutorial lady on accident ,i thought friendly fire was on :(
Thanks so much for playing and your feedback, we felt didn't have time to prevent players from declining everyone and communicate that they can't. The tutorial character was added last so killing was is not entirely indented but we thought it was too funny to get rid of.

I enjoyed the visuals.
I got some bugs i think.
When asking for the invite, some people will say they will show me, but the invite image would't show.
At some point, the girl with browines, came again and wouldn't speak. I killed her in the house, and she was still at the door without dialogue, i couldn't continue. :(
Good execution overall and fun dialogues!
I have just addressed the bug and put a warning in the description of our game talking about the bug, if you wanted to get the ending and got the bug again, all you would have to do is click on the bottom/middle of the screen, where the back button would be normally. This will lett you continue.
Additionally do you still remember some of the characters that didn't show their invites? If you do I could take a look at them, however there is a chance that we wrote the dialogue lines a little weirdly and in a confusing way.

I straight up said woah when I loaded in. the visauls are really cool when you start a new game and the menu screen and song is a vibe off the bat. shot the first dude because I don't trust anyone. So sick you guys narrated or added some voice sound with the text or however you did that, I like it a lot. second dude got blasted, I almost feel bad. but they are talking about vampires. rip 3rd dude. Ah yes then a fellow human arrived. welp, blasted the 4th arrival. Ah, McLovin the 5th arrival. blasted. Blasted the 6th who looked like Mark Zuckerberg. 7th, blasted. 8th Blasted, he forgot chips. 9th Blasted.. just gonna blast em all... the person who showed up already probably having come from a party sounded funny with the voice. I just keep blastin em at this point and it feels like there is an endless amount of them showing up. So i tried to get to the end after going through a lot of people and accepted everyone shooting everyone. when I got to the guy who said he brought the good stuff I decided to deny him. he left. my door knocked again I opened it, went to see him with his image but no text showed up and I got softlocked. that was really disappointing after going through a lot of people trying to get the end and see the ending, if there is one..
Wow, thanks for the whole paragraph review 😅. I'm glad you enjoyed the game although it definitly wasn't our intent to have the player kill everyone they meet! The last character showing up for a second time is a bug that we still intend to fix, all you missed is a stats ending screen showing how many vampires/humans you killed and how many vampires/humans you let in. If you wanted to see that but encounter the bug again all you have to do is to click the middle bottom of the screen (where the back button was the rest of the time) and you will go back to being able to do things. this game looks very polished! the visuals and the audio give an eerie atmosphere! i also like how u can question potential vampires to verify if they are a human or not. also i got a question, can humans have a scratched out picture in their id?
