This game is good to the point I'm kinda suspicious you actually used an old project for the jam instead of making it on the one week period lol.
Jokes apart, it really stands out on gameplay, and the visuals are awesome. Really worth the time.

My game is here, it may not be as interesting on gameplay but pls rate it :)

Played your game and it's really fun (although it's kinda difficult)

Please rate my game, it's kinda long but totally worth it :)

This was truly a nice experience. Most of the categories under avaliation could be described by "Simple but amazing".

My only critique is that the cases were pretty easy. That's probably intentional to compensate the fact you're solving them while dodging trash cans. But there were no noticeable punishment for hitting them, so it kinda cancels out.

Despite that, amazing game, I'll give it a solid 9/10

background music. I did hear that was something played but it was kinda low.

this is one of the games ever made.

Probably the best game I've played on this jam so far. I genuinely rated 5 stars for almost everything. I think the only mild flaw it has is the lack of an audible good song playing in game. But the rest of the sound design, like the sfx, volume management and stuff are perfect. Doesn't even look like it was made in only a week.

Really well made game, with an interesting logic gameplay (although I couldn't win once for skill issue lol). The visuals are simple but they work perfectly along all the game vibe.

My only big critique is that the music was too short so it looped a lot. It sounded like, dizzy? Which is definitely a good thing for the game, but it was getting kinda annoying over time.

Excellent game overall!

Pretty enjoyable game and addictive gameplay. The music sounds really good, and the visuals are satisfying.

I wanted to know how exactly I build the temple (there was no interaction with the temple terrain or something) and what are those circular totems for other than buying the tools. Also I didn't find the game pretty fitting with the jam theme (probably because I couldn't finish it as I mentioned).

Despite all that, it's a really decent game overall, congrats for the work!

(and please check my game :D)

Heyy thank you for taking your time to play our game! I really appreciate your comment regarding the music. I'm the one who made those, and I was having a bad time on this specific area of making music (that's pretty much the reason I joined this game jam), so this kind of comment enlightens my heart more than anything.

I'll be playing your game in a few hours, hope I can do as much good for your day as you did for mine :D

I'm Caquitto, and I'm really interested in this game jam and I'd like to participate with someone else. I don't have a lot of experience with making retro music but I do have a lot of familiarity with Pokemon songs. My discord nick is @caquittoplasma22

I also do some Unity coding so I may help with lesser tasks and support :D

The first thing I got to say is that the artwork is stunning. Everything related to visuals really feels like you put all your soul into it. But I got confused about some stuff and I wanted some help.

I couldn't find an in-game tutorial to teach how things work. I'm not really used to card videogames, so I could understand pretty much nothing.

And the game was all mute, except for when I clicked on the settings button and some stuff.

I'm not trying to give any bad criticism, I'm just asking for help and see if I did something wrong or if my build is glitched. I want to be able to fully enjoy the experience because it really seems worth it!

I'm glad to hear that my feedback was useful for you. I can't do much to help you about the VFX as I'm not into this area, but I'm a composer and I've made some nice ambience music. With some more discussion and proximity, I could make you just the thing you're looking for. Your game has a lot of potential, mainly considering the future features you mentioned now.

In case you want to talk more with me and you have a Discord, my nick is @caquittoplasma22

I could show you some of my music as well :D

Oh thanks, I didn't know the number keys actually did something lol. I played like 5 days of this and it's pretty satisfying and addictive, just like you described! There's some stuff that could be improved, like:
-Visual polishment in general, mainly for vfx and animations. Most of stuff look pretty static.
-Better event puzzles (not saying the current ones are bad, but they could be a little longer and more dynamic)
-The major issue imo: lack of sound. Both for sound effects and music. These are REALLY important stuff you need to get for the kind of game you're making.

Despite all that, this game has a huge potential. Hope my feedback is useful :)

I don't get how to plant stuff. I selected the pumpkin seed and left-clicked on the green grids on the middle. But nothing happened. I clicked and double clicked everything on my screen, but I couldn't see nothing being planted nor the seed getting consumed. Could someone help?

I like this game idea. It proves that sometimes less is more. I know it's a beta version, but I wonder what you're planning to do about the soundtrack. I really miss some music over the experience, mainly at the fighting section. Some vfx polishment would do pretty good for the official release as well. But other than that, it's a nice game.

Hello, my name is Caquitto and I'd love helping you on the team as the music composer. I've sent a friend request on Discord as ElCaquittoGordo, hope you're interested :) I'll be sending you my previous music on Discord.

I'm looking for a team so I can show my music skills and fully integrate into the dev community. Check my music here: https://soundcloud.com/caio-noronha-276554947
