Wont spoil the twist at the end but it was really great! One critique I do have is that you avoid "Mixels" where you have objects with different pixel sizes in the same scene. Great game!

Developer

I appreciate your feedback, I was not really familiar with pixel arts, and we had to use some premade assets aside from our own design, at some places it felt unordinary. We had to go with that

I'm watching The Mentalist right now and your game is giving the same vibess. Props to the writing and narration, and the audio sets the right atmosphere - I'll continue playing for sure :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice comments! Being compared to the mentalist is a huge compliment :D

The music is nice, and the dialogue system is really complex! Nice game!

I'm still mid- game, but wanted to quickly take time out to write a comment. The game's pretty good overall, but theres two things that absolutely stand out

THE WRITING

AND THE SOUND

So well done, and perfectly fitting the theme. Really well executed game, and so far, the game seems pretty darn polished and bug free!

Heyy thank you for taking your time to play our game! I really appreciate your comment regarding the music. I'm the one who made those, and I was having a bad time on this specific area of making music (that's pretty much the reason I joined this game jam), so this kind of comment enlightens my heart more than anything.

I'll be playing your game in a few hours, hope I can do as much good for your day as you did for mine :D

Cool game! The concept is awesome, the music is nice, and overall it's great work.

Developer(+1)

Heyyy
I really appreciate it :D

I love the dialogues and how interconnected everything is, although i had to do something else so i was sadly not able to finish the game, but judging from what i saw currently (the PEAK music for EVERY single house), the beautiful art and how the clues actually correlate to the story and characters, the realistic interactions, is definitely worth a play! I'll come back, finish the game, and give it a rating once submissions open!
