How does the game fit the theme?
The main goal of this game is to find the exit of the dungeon. You can ask your way to goblins, but, maybe, they won't be so helpful !
If you want to follow their instructions, you will have to get them right first.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The code is my own.
The little green and blue goblins NPCs are my own
The player character asset and tiles are from Kenney assets store.
How many people worked on the game?2

sadly a bit short, but congrats on your first game jam, keep pushing to make more!
Thank you for playing !
As a beginner, here are some things to ponder (remember, any advice is just my opinion).
Your cover art is a bit misleading because the actual game looks nothing like what's presented.
Try using both WASD and arrow keys for movement. (Most keyboards have arrow keys on the right, and it is awkward for right-handed players if you also have to use a mouse.
Was it only one level? The end screen was a bit ambiguous.
Thank you for testing the game, and for your advices ! I'll keep them in mind for the future.
You are right, I should have thought about WASD keys for movement.
It took more time than expected so yeah, it's only one level, but this one was supposed to be kind of a tutorial at first. Same thing for the arts, they were supposed to be more for prototyping but, in the end...
The game is very short
Thank you for the comment and for playing my game. Indeed, it's my first game jam, and my beginning in the making games journey. Unfortunately, I did not succeed to go further this time. Maybe the next one ! 😊
