See the game: it's all three colours. It actually really enhanced my artistic skills, in my opinion. Great challenge overall.

Oh, I really liked the art and animations, awesome color palette choice. Also atmosphere is great for the horror game, the stone is really looks fantastic!

I think it will be nice to add outline on interactable items while hovering them, it will increase more attention guidence and give more responsiveness.

Also I think you could add Tooltip on hover to inventory objects, where you can tell some story about items and also to describe what an item it is to provide more information from your HUD.

You did a great job, good luck with this project <3

Such a well-executed game, it really captures the eerie and freaky sensation of being alone in a forest. Very cool environmental storytelling that is elevated by the pixel art. You used the limitation really well with this palette for a cohesive and evocative style, amazing work! We got to the ending, although it feels like it didn't play out as intended, the monster still attacked and then the retry button didn't work.

The pixel art is so effective, the only critique is how the fireplace is animated. Adjusting the opacity makes sense as a way to animate the flames, but it does feel like it clashes with the rest of the simple style and looks a little unnatural.

Overall great atmospheric work and well done, one of the best kinds of jam games!

Thank you for the thoughtful response! That means a lot to me :)
And yeah, I forgot to turn off the spawn rate for the eyes in the final room - my bad! 'twill be fixed (along with some other minor issues) once the jam is over.

Nice to see a more horror oriented game, I really enjoy the mechanics in this and the general spooky atmosphere. I did have a problem where the reset button didn't work for me, but that might have been my browser acting up. The limited palette works great here though! :)

I really liked it, a very nice, polished, atmospheric little point-and-click! The artstyle is great, the sounds add up to the whole vibe perfectly,  it really nails the creepy feeling of being at night in a forest. Great game! :]

The art is wonderful the three colors really did you well haha. Thank you for providing plenty of wood, I don't do tht well with horror games lol. I didn't figure out what to do with the totem pole, but I reached the very end! The eyes still got me after the headlights though lol.

The sounds was implemented nicely as well!

Thank you so much! And whoops, guess I forgot to make sure the creature doesn't spawn in the end room - will be fixed in the post-jam version!
