I like how I can recognize a lot of things from this, its fun to look around but i do wish things connected more so it felt like one art piece. Also some extra detailing would add nicely but it is still a nice and very charming piece of art. Hope you keep going and I see you in the next pixel art jam :D
It's nice I guess
Ok but seriously you could have added core ideas and elements so the art can feel more cohesive, right now if feels like many added random fantasy elements with no clear purpose. It just makes the art seem messy.
If you could have made them visibly friends or just add elements to characterize them, like if they are coworkers give them uniforms. That adds personality and helps people naturally make up interpretations for the art, making it better than just, it's nice I guess. Your art doesn't need a whole story, but it would be nice if it had a bit more meaning behind the art.
the whole idea about is is that there are random people, i didn't have that much time to expand on it without changing the whole composition, the ghosts were father and son btw, also i was planning on expanding upon the art after the jam
