The game started off strong with good music and loading screen, and I liked the visuals to. There were some problems, first you didn't explain the objective in game it is goof practice because people usually don't read the entire description of the game. Second the mouse aiming was too sensitive. Third and more importantly the game was laggy I know this is you first unity game saying that this is impressive I couldn't relses my first game because of lag. A couple of things You could have done to fix the lag (it wasn't that bad) was bake your lighting I don't if you did that and let the lights on mixed, but if not windows---Rendering---lighting. The second thing you could have done (I don't know whether you did any of this or not so I am just telling you stuff that will help in case you did not) is bake you Occlusion windows---Rendering----Occlusion. Last in player settings (Edit---project settings) turn on static batching.  All in all, it was a good experience, and I would consider paling the next update.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I am currently working on the first update (seperate from the other file cuz it has to be there for the contest) but I'll try to look into baking the lights and such.

I have made an updated non-demo version with more levels and enemies as well as fixed bugs here: (not part of the contest)  https://mughat-games.itch.io/close-call

Alright I have some new feedback for you; first you did improve the lag it was noticeably better the two problems are small and easer to fix in comparison.  There were some overlapping textures this happens when you have to faces of a 3d model on the same cordonnets, second and you might not even call this a problem just and inconvenience is whenever you go back to the main menu you have to watch the splash screen again.

ah yes. I know about those overlappings. It happened when I was just rushing making the levels. And yeah I should make it so you don’t have to watch the title intro again
