How does the game fit the theme?
There are many NPCs in the game, some of them lie about how to complete the level correctly, so you can't trust any of them 100%

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I create all the assets myself.

How many people worked on the game?

I like the level design, though I personally didn't like how some npcs lied while others said the truth, I think most people like that. Some improvements that could have been made:
 - Some basic animations, like walk and jump, even 2-4 frame animations would greatly better the game feel
 - Some polish, like explosions, particles, screen shake, etc. All of those won't apply to this game much, but some more emphasis when the player dies or something like that would have been good.
 - Sound effects would have been great.
 - I actually did not notice the death counter at the start, and I think maybe making it bigger or adding some text showing its a death counter would help for people like me who just focused on playing the game.

Even though there are a lot of improvements that could have been made, the game itself is still good. For one person, to make the game and all the assets in this game jam while still having good level design is quite difficult.

It would be great if you continue working on the game after the game jam.

Thanks for playing. I would like to polish this game, but as an solo developer I don't have enough time to do what you're writing about.

Loved the game idea, maybe the gameplay and physics could be enhanced after the jam and add some juice. But appreciate the effort as a solo dev. Keep going pal! <3

Nice gameplay and exacly matches the theme

- when i walk i see black lines that strches through game like in old TV

- game needs animations and music

+I like this minimalized style but it will be better if you add text stylization

Thanks for playing.

– I’m familiar with that bug, but I have no idea what causes it.

– I plan to improve the game after the game jam. This includes things like animations and music.

– I will do it, but I didn’t have enough time back then.

I really liked the game. I really liked the level designs. It would have been great if our character had a walking animation. Still, the game is good.

Thanks for playing. I don't have enough time to make animation, after game jame I plan improve the game and add some new mechanics.

The amount of clever level design made this more a fun game than a rage game. Fit the theme really well with the expected mechanics suddenly not working - turning jumping puzzle into small memory games.

Really funny and well made platforming experience.

Thanks for playing. My goal was to create a game that was more fun than annoying. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Just completed the game. I adore the artwork of this game, especially the good and evil kings. I think if I'm correct, there is a death counter at the top left of the screen. I died like 35+ times ðŸ˜‚. All that trial and error was worth it for me. I thought I was never going to pass the level.

I love even though the theme is Trust No One, some NPCs are trustworthy so that the player doesn't assume to do the opposite of what they're told to do. That's how you balance gameplay difficulty I guess.

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you like the graphics and that despite the many deaths, you still enjoyed playing.
