How does the game fit the theme?
The idea of the game revolves around the theme itself with the detective-like storyhood of this game with a murder occuring in the shape town which you are tasked to find who did it. Suspects will give you clues on who might be the one, but can you trust them, or even yourself?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
none, only the music which was taken from a CC0 licence in opengameart.com.

I am not a good detective, but I enjoyed trying to figure it out anyways. But as the game says don't trust this detective. Great job.
Nice submission! I could see where the theme is implemented. I do have issues with the sfx used, I wish it had variety on which shape is speaking- personally the cursive font was hard to read on the notebook, but nonetheless this is a good game! Good job!
You're actually on point with the sfx difference with each suspect, it could add more variety. The notebook writings do look a little erased and hard to read, yes. I wanted to give a hand-written vibe to it but I'll reconsider it as it'll be probably hard for a lot of people to read those. Thank you for trying it out.
What a cool idea! I've seen a lot of detective games this jam, but you definitely did it differently. I would add a skip button to dialogues, but the dialogues were written well so I enjoyed reading them eitherway. Good job!
Actually I first did the dialouges with skip buttons but then removed them as I thought they wouldn't be usefull as the writing speed is close to an average humans I should say. But It may actually not be true for some people and they might just want to skip anf fast read them. I might re-add the skip buttons in the future. Thanks for your feedback.
Solid game, really fits the theme
Thank you for trying it out
