Note: I tried the line height script posted above and it is *different*, maybe closer to the size, but it is not quite the same as the original.
Check Ella Jameson's comment above - they discovered it exports at 133% size, and made a python script to fix it.
If that's not working for you, I recommend importing the font into FontForge and manually tweaking the metrics to your liking.
I believe that is the script posted above that I tried and it produced a different font position and size from the original.
Here is a script that works for my use case that takes the original font as a reference and restores everything that changed while keeping the changes to glyphs in the table.
