A lot of number crunching in this one, and a lot of luck mitigation required, but it seems like it's at the point where it's winnable and the win feels deserved. Very evocative of the vicissitudes of running a service-focused business that lives and dies on word of mouth.
I really enjoyed the challenges that the player needs to complete during the game. I felt it was a more “focused” Broken Cask game with a clear loop that could be played in a few sessions. I might have enjoyed it more knowing I won’t be playing the same game forever. The layout was great and inclusion of spark tables was well appreciated.
Great work!
I am impressed by the amount of writing and complexity you achieved for the time limit of this jam. I worked in a hotel for 11 years so anything inn themed definitely catches my interest. You did a great job with the prompts and I really like that the upgrades do feel like a challenge to achieve while keeping the inn running. That wouldn’t be an easy task to juggle! I enjoyed reading through this and look forward to playing it when I get some time to do so.

This is brilliant :) The mechanics are very harmonious, every detail fits together wonderfully and the presentation is lovely. Even with such simple prompts , you've created a game where the Forgotten Queen will develop such a lot of personality so quickly, amazing work.
Wow! This game is jam packed with so much amazing detail. I love the concept of taking the traditional starting point for rpgs and making a whole game about it. This looks so neat. I can't wait to play and see if I can make it profitable.
I loved the idea of running an inn, so I was excited to play! I have to say he style and presentation are awesome. The font is sooo good. And wow! What a challenge, especially those first few weeks of gameplay. I got soft-locked with finances my first two attempts to start, but my third try I can't believe how lucky I was to get Judgement and then to roll a freaking 6! OMG game-changer!
I also wanted to say I loved the thoughtfulness you put into your mechanics and all the prompts! Thanks for submitting! <3
