Fun little game!
Some Feedback:
Characters seem to be floating. Maybe use a bar or a Horizontal UI that stretches the whole screen to make it feel like they are appearing behind it.
Having names appear for the characters and their homes would have helped me a lot.
Some screens don't have any sound.
Allow re-click to see what i found in investigation (without adding time).
You could add visual cue to what can be investigated so people don't have to randomly click everything.
