What a fun game! I loved the roll animation. The level design was well done. I didn't make it super far, but still had a good time.

How does the game fit the theme?
"There's Always Something Better" fits this game jam's theme of "Trust No One" because that's what the main character learns throughout the story. In the beginning of the story, John The Knight trusts people who tell him that the Desperation Course is the only way for him to achieve success. But as the game continues, he realizes that he has to trust himself and make his one success, not seek other people's version of his success.
