Pretty great speedrunning platformer with mechanics that risk x reward! Played in the second hour on video here:
Thank you so much! It's totally fair that Hono is kind of expected to suck on Web haha, didn't mean to point out the obvious.
I haven't gone and reread my controls but that was written after 12 hours straight working on the game rather than sleeping haha!
I wanted to try out pixel art since I haven't really ever done it before especially not for an entire game. So the feedback is very much appreciated!
we just two dudes spending their saturdays making tiny games for each other. <3
Seriously haha, cheers
A very original idea and good implementation, the levels are quite challenging
Thank you!!
I liked how you covered the topic. The core gameplay is really cool. The art style and sound design are also top‑notch. The only unpleasant thing is the camera — there’s something off‑putting about how it behaves.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I will look at the camera, maybe I restricted the cameras movement too closely.
great idea and execution icl, maybe with more time it would be a great game, also liked the art
Thank you! It was my first time making a tilemap so I'm glad it turned out well.
Nicely challenging! Maybe i missed it but being able to burn the wood platforms was unclear but overall fun and original
Thank you! I didn't realize the tutorial had stopped working, I'm rebuilding and uploading the patch now!
The juggle of keeping your strength while dodging projectiles and jumping from platform to platform is really nice, the game has a good frustration that gives a good reward when you complete a level.
Thanks for the feedback! My biggest worry was making it too hard
Really nice mechanic, and it ties in perfectly with the theme.
Thank you!!
